Disney Store Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion - 2017
20% off all remaining Limited Edition dolls today. Ariel and Rapunzel are gone - but Elena, Robin Hood, Cruella, and Moana are still available. Don't think there's a minimum purchase requirement!

Her face might grow on us, but I have a major issue with how they turned the majestic dark blue of Elsa's gown into a bizarre powder blue that doesn't even come close to matching her cape :/

Haha jk. It does irk me a little though. The navy was 85% of what I liked about her new design.
Well, I think as far as colors ar concerned, pictures are not that reliable :) (Okay we know she's not running around in an orange dress but what kind of blue it is, in my opinion it can only be decided when we see the real doll, so My advice would be to gond look at the display dolls, if there are any :))

Funny, I can't get the discount to work on Elena. It's like the Cyber Monday sale all over again.

Very true :)

Wow, they really want to clearance them out!

Ah well, I need to save up for some of my grails and possibly the OFA ladies anyway :) May Disney keep me safe from temptation!
I don't think Disney will do it :)
I hope there will be some good quality pictures of the Frozen girls soon. I can't decide if I like them or not.

NOW IS THE TIME! Elena and the remaining Fairytale dolls are buy 1 get at 50% off! They took the disney20 code (an additional 20% off! I bought Robin Hood and Elena and the total was $175 (with tax and free shipping!) Use Ebates for additional 4% off!

Hmm, that's the same 25% off they did last week with the Disney20 code too....but back then, you only needed to buy one.

I wonder why they decided to let us use the codes?

I think the edition size is just too big for the remaining dolls and they want to sell as many as they can before Christmas. I was surprised none of them sold out today at this price - so we may see another drop after the holidays.

Someone predicted there will be yet another sale once Christmas is over. It's like not one day goes by without Disney putting out a deal you can't refuse for the limited dolls. And they used to be untouchable!

Disney usually does some type of sale on Christmas or the day after. There should also be a sale on New Years.

I just want to say Wow. I think I want to get her now...

Here is the Anna picture. She looks somwhat... odd, with that strange expression on her face. Her outfit is pretty but the face... :

She actually looks less odd in this picture than she has in previous ones. Still odd, yes, but not as bad. She was looking pretty funky in some of those earlier pix. Although it could be the angle that makes the difference!

I didn' want to judge her untill I got to see better pictures of her butapparantly I was unable to resist. Both girls look better in these pictures, I agree but. I hope to see her from different angles so I can form my opinion better :)

Huh... I though Anna's dress was longer than that. Oh, well.

Sorry for the delay, but here are the pics of my Elena - both the doll AND my six month old photobombing kitten, lol!

She is a beauty. Did you get her in store or online? I am on a doll no-buy but almost pulled the trigger on her with all the great promotions Disney has going this season.

Anna in this picture looks cuter than her previous face mold. Reflects her lovable derpiness quite well. However, (and I placed her FF doll right next to my laptop to compare) her previous look is more sophisticated. Just, prettier overall.

I am so conflicted on her. If there ends up being no embroidery on her cape, just print and some rhinestones, I will neither purchase nor look back. I like that OFA Elsa has red lips but dislike how much darker her eyebrows are. Also, I expect the sisters will now have differently sized eyes. They narrowed Elsa's quite a bit, from the looks of all the photos. The shorter braid may be more movie accurate but I thought the longer ones with the accessories embedded in them (snowflakes, rhinestones, flowers) was a touch that made the LE dolls more special. This one just has that sprig of plastic holly on the side of her head.

I haven't seen any of these dolls live, just pictures so I can't compete with your knowledge :) But I agree with what you said about her derpiness.

I think at least part of the snowflakes on her cape will be embrodiered. And you can hope that in person her exebrows won't be so dark. :)

I got her from the store, but I ordered a second one online for my aunt to give to her granddaughter for Christmas. My store was a little crowded, and I ended up being the third person online (though the second one to purchase, since the woman right in front of me must have been new to the process, as she first went to ask one of the cast members if they were even selling the doll.
