Has DSUK stopped selling Limited Edition Pins? They haven't had any advertisements up lately? Anyone have any info?

They have had open edition pin sets that's been released lately which I'm not happy about and don't think any one else is either but my fingers are crossed for a really good valentines pin with a good character on as they usauly do one so here's to my fingers crossed

I don't think they're limited releases in the last year have sold very well and many have been reduced to clear. Tron and Zorro being some unusual releases(which I prefer) and even Beauty/beast, Minnie mouse were reduced. Jungle book took a while and made a couple of reappearance, while Coco set is still available (expensive compared to individual pins). I'd guess that there just doesn't seem interest from UK customers at the moment which is a shame.

Has anyone written to DSUK to find out if they will be releasing more exclusive pins? I hope so.
I'm tempted to do so! There's been some really weird, obscure pins that didn't sell well but DSUK has also brought out some real gems over the past few years. It would be a shame for them to stop, especially for us UK collectors who can't get pins as easily.

I contacted ds uk they asked there manager as she didn't know she thinks it mite be an issue with supplier but have passed my issue on to someone higher and they will be getting In touch with me will let you know what they have said but it would be a lot better if the rest of you contacted them as the more complain the more they would listen too us

It can't be a coincidence that the park pack pins and possibly the Silhouette pins have been postponed over here as well.

Here's the response I have got I will let you know when they have got back to me

Hi Damien,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

We would like to confirm that this matter has been escalated to our Head Office and will be investigated further. As soon as we have any further feedback we will contact you again. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

It's got to be something on the supplier side. When I spoke with the one of the pin managers (higher than just a CM) at the Love event, she said they were really ramping up the pin presence and specifically said she wanted it to return to the same quality and quantity as it was in the past. Here she mentioned HMs, monthly releases, and the return of PTNs state-side. So I doubt this is a "Disney" thing, since they were just very adamant about wanting it to improve. I just can't shake the feeling that someone up the chain has finally noticed/cared about the counterfeit merchandise that's now even brazenly being released before the official.

A change in manufacturers would explain the sudden halt of the Park Packs, the new DS Silhouette, DSUK, and the PTDs at DSF. So, I know it's all conjecture, but I'm putting my chips on that number for now.

Ok thanks merlin That makes sense but I do hope they get this sorted very soon as I need to build my traders up for a pin event I'm going to in November will let you know on here once I've heard back from them

Here's the response I got from management at disneystore UK
