Hey y’all! I’m working on a pretty high end trade with someone on Facebook, but I’m nervous that she’s not legit. Anyone have any references on “Diane Diane” from France?

Have not, but that already sounds shady! You should also ask on the scam alerts PSA Facebook group. Good luck!

You should ask for an address so you can compare her's against the other scammers. Have you tried looking up her name in the various pin groups to see if she's traded before. Also, how old her account is. The double name seems fishy.

I won’t trade with people who don’t use their real names on Facebook. It’s a red flag for me. There’s no reason to hide who you are on Facebook....even if pin trading was your dirty little secret, all the pin groups are closed groups so unless spouse/ mom/ dad/ brother/ boss/ co-worker is in the pin group they won’t have any idea what you’re up to.

You know, if it is a high-end trade, I more than likely wouldn't go with it at all if I have even a smidgen of doubt. I've never done a high-end trade with pins, but I know from trading other stuff online that it's never a good idea to do something if you aren't at least 95% sure that they are completely legit. Even that's putting a bit to much to chance.

Actually there are a lot of people who don't use their real names on FB. And not all pin groups are closed either.

The OP never identified what the trade was.
