Chat not letting people copy/paste - a solution

I, like many other people, have had this problem - I personally can click links in the chat, but I wasn't able to copy or paste into the chat window at all.

Until now! I just followed the instructions for "Solution 2" in this forum thread:
http://forums.addoninteractive.com/showthread.php?7707-Copy-Paste-Issue-in-Java-1.6-Update-24

And now I can copy and paste to my heart's content.
