Free Holidays Coloring Contest
Happy Holidays DPFers!
Two years ago when the Holiday Card Exchange started, I drew pictures for all my recipients. Knuggles requested at the end of the season that I color her drawing for her (that offer still stands). And she gave me an idea for a contest. Unfortunately last year, I was unable to participate in any holiday fanfare; however, I kept the idea at the back of my brain. Fast forward to today! I have finished my holiday card design for this year and it includes this:
Now you may be wondering to yourself, "What am I to do with this?" Or perhaps you scrolled down to my example coloring. This is what you can color to win a fun prize! Choose to color it however you'd like. Really, you can either follow my example, go crazy with your own color scheme, or hand it to your kid who will scribble all over it. Because there are going to be two prizes: one chosen for best overall and one chosen at random from all the participants.

All colored pictures must be posted on this thread. You may use a computer to color. HOWEVER you may NOT use the fill bucket (I have to see scratch marks). The cutoff time for entries is December 18th at 11:59 p.m. EST. If you happen to be one of my Christmas Card recipients, you will have a copy of the drawing in your mailbox. The specs for the drawing are 8.5"x11". Because of mail costs, I cannot mail the grand prize outside of the USA. However international entrants are welcome to enter for the random prize.
My hope is that this spreads a little bit of holiday cheer this season. Since I'm adulting so hard this season, I need a little bit of childhood fun to distract me.
