I am confused.

Technical answer: The site uses ajax, so if you use the quick reply box, it only loads your new reply, and doesn't refresh the entire page. When it does this, it doesn't call on all of the addons (iTrader, etc), only whatever result is returned from the native forum software. so, when you make a new reply in a thread using the quickreply box, you won't immediately see your itrader feedback on your new post. if you have previously made posts in the thread, however, it should show up.
