I have Amazing Spider-Man comics for sale on an auction site right now that includes every issue done by Todd McFarlane from 1988 to 1990.

This was the run that made him a star, and it had a big influence in comics overall. You also get the first appearances of Venom, along with tons of other great moments and storylines.
