WDW WDW: Fairy Tails annual pin trading event Aug 9-10, 2019
Did anyone get notification about where early registration is going to be in their RSP e-mail?? Someone mentioned the Coronado, but I don't have that in my e-mail??

Not yet. I figured that info would be sent to us closer to the event.

In the email that I received for my niece to confirm her pick up date, it stated a merchandise pick up location for August 8th.

Well they said no to adding a 3rd to my order :( I wonder if anyone was able to get pins added. I know I removed at least 5-6 different pins and so did my sister.

The only items that didn’t sell out are the 1. Passholder pin, 4. Abu, 10. Bolt, 17. Pluto & Fifi, and 30. MagicBand. Those can be added up to 3 of each.

Any cancellations of sold out items are offered to the next person on the RSP.
Returns at the Event will be available first come first serve.

At least that’s what they told me today.

Well, there will be at least one Elliot available again, since I returned it from my RSP (but he lasted until the third RSP, so not overwhelmingly popular). I feel sorry for the Bolt pin being left over, but I understand why - the concept was good but it looks weird in execution.

Looking at the catalogue again, I'm a bit surprised the Passholder pin is LE 1,000 since I would imagine that a good deal of attendees won't be passholders. I wonder if they're counting on passholders buying it during the free trade event on Sunday?

This is exactly what they told me as well.

Wow, only 3 pins didn't sell out? (not including Ap). That's kind of impressive considering how it's been the past two events!

I'm sure a handful of them will be available at the event from late drops though.

The Pre-Registration Day (August 8th) location is at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

I heard that there is typically pin trading at the Swan and Dolphin hotel in the evening of Day 1 of the event. Is this true? If so, do you need admission into this event?

There is no pinpics/acme event this year...Thursday has a private event and sunday is another...friday and Saturday will be lobby trading most likely

Pinpics lost their partnership with ACME. They're both now attempting to rebrand themselves. I saw online that 4 new representatives of the new ACME line have been chosen. Sucks for those who already paid to be affiliated through Pinpics.

Anybody catch this cheeky prohibited items clause in the email update?

"As part of our theme park policies, certain personal items are not permitted inside the Park, including:
  • Folding chairs, tennis balls, frisbees, fish tanks, heat lamps, catnip, squeaky toys, bridles, etc."
At least, I assume it's cheeky.

ETA:

Yep.
