Wow. This is a really hard game. As others have stated, there are SO MANY people that I could nominate. Do you go with someone that has a broad impact on making this a great forum in general? Or someone that had a more direct impact on me personally? Just off the top of my head comes to mind folks like
@krand1276 who triggered me to join the forum and always sends wonderful and joy bringing postcards and
@CanaDaLE for her super fun and generous games. There's
@MerlinEmrys who helped so many of us with our WDW collections and sold me his Moana DSSH postcard at cost just because. And there's
@timeerkat who hooks us up with DSSH pins and was the source of my very first PTD (and a great dinner companion at Epcot). And of course
@Shelterkat who, with the help of
@speedwaystar1 was our DLR connection (and, with
@Connies_Hobby treated the wife and I to a lovely beignets break.) Or
@ItzaPinfan who took over the DLR pick ups. There's
@Ksnuggles running our wonderful RAK program and moderating the forum along with our super moderator
@starry_solo (and lets not forget
@Cicada behind the scenes!) I think of
@chubs191 who I knew prior to being here on the Forum but only as that person who always ends up near me on the board lines at the Epcot pin event. I also knew
@docfish2u before the forum from a pinpics trade many years ago and I regret not following his suggestion at the time to come here. And of course there's
@Disneychildwithin who has me curating her ever growing NBC drinking (and other) devices collection. And
@AvatarAng1 who bid the super phenomenal Lion King Artist Choice pin in my auction that made me cross my fingers that nobody else bid something better as I would then have to pass on it. And everyone else who bid in any of my auctions. Or joined any of my co-ops/sales. Or the people named in my signature below that helped me with grails. Or
@splashmtnman whom I made several great and fun trades with recently. Or anybody else I made a trade with. Or anybody that sold me awesome pins at great prices. And there's
@summerskin who often hosts incredibly generous games where she just gives away a bunch of pins. And
@stratasfan who is similarly crazily generous in the doll department. And
@akarih who I think monitors this forum even more than I do and I can always count on chiming in. And of course
@Spr175psu who inspired me to use my first gif on their "tell me why you should get a Mr. Toad pin" game a while back and I've been using them since. And
@slbrabham whom I also had some good trades with and is always supportive about my work on sets. And of course
@DisneyJ who always posts super useful information about online releases and ebay deals. I could keep going. Like with
@bcol whom I enjoyed waiting with him and his daughter to get into the Epcot event last year as well as
@watzshakinbacon whom is always just so fun and happy that you just get happy seeing her. And speaking of fun, judging from posts, I think
@Addicted to Alice Pins and I just have the same sense of humor. There's
@Purplemandms whom I still remember how amusing it was when trying to figure out her name originally (Purpleman DMs? What's the DM for? Doc Martens? Danger Mouse?) and makes those wonderful badges for everyone. And speaking of a generous artist,
@Kritter made and maintains my logo. And....tons of other folks and I am sure I am forgetting some key ones that will make me say "'Doh! How could I have forgotten to mention them!?" so I apologize to those people in advance. Sorry I forgot to mention you. You're awesome!
But I can only nominate one so, without a doubt, for me that will be
@pincrazy . I don't think most people realize how much she does as she likes to stay low key and behind the scenes, like when she was helping docfish with his annual party (although he did give her a shoutout). She often helps support our various pick up people and I know there are several people doing pin exchanges with her, or that she hooks up with west coast pins, always at low cost. I think she has more fun getting pins for others than for herself. For me personally, she was the winner of my very first auction and got me started on my Moana collection. And over the years since then we've developed a friendship that I cherish.
