2025 Pin Discussion & Pin Releases

One person on eBay had 4 for sale at $80 each. 2 have already sold. This angers me to no end.

This is a thread from right after this forum started: October 2010. I'm sure many of us could post similar stories through the years.
I am referencing it now, because things are rough in pin world right now. But this isn't the first time and it won't be the last. After 25 years of doing this, my advice is, "Make a list of what you have missed, and just keep an eye out." It may take 6 months, a year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years but pins will find their way to you even if you resist FOMO. Many grails from 2000 are no longer grails. Or from 2010. Or for any other year. For every WDI Princess pin that starts high and stays high, there are dozens of pins that get forgotten in a few years. At the LE sizes these park pins are, IMO, far more are heading to secondary market trade / sell stock than into people's permanent collections. They will eventually become available.
Resellers have a lot of money tied up in inventory right now, D23 & WDW Pin Event credit card bills will be hitting in September and October, and we are facing some economic headwinds. Put a little money aside and wait. I recently bought a WDI jumbo pin that sold for $49.99 retail. It was originally listed for $180, went on sale at $135 and I offered $115 and it was accepted.

I love this motto! I haven’t been doing this long enough to see any missed pins come back around, so I guess I just need to have faith.
