So I see the Series page has been updated. My immediate issue is that the Default for this page is no longer sorted by Release Date, which I presume is the a preferred method for people to review pins in a Series. They want to see either the Newest or the Oldest, just as long as it goes in a sequential order. And in order to change to to a Release Date sort, you have to scroll all the way down the filter list, and then all the way back up to hit the apply filter button.
Default sort should still be based on pin release date (newest release first). We have had some pins added that incorrectly had future release dates so (I think) these have been fixed.

Spring 2026 Updates

Trader Approve - Extra Token Update

At this time, we will NOT be taking an extra token for Trader Approve trades. We previously communicated that the May 2026 Trade Arcade would be the first event with an extra token charge for Trader Approve, which is more work for our staff as we have to take photos of the front and back of the pins and post them in the app for trader review. We're still working hard on our internal processes to improve the turn around time on trades and, based on conversations we've seen and been involved in, we're contemplating options that would customize the authentication experience for different trader experiences. This is what we're thinking...

1 Token for photos provided AND/OR 1 Token for Pin & Pop validation

Many of you feel comfortable reviewing and deciding on authenticity... or know there aren't any fakes of a specific pin and really just want validation on quality of the pin or confirmation that there a backer card included. In this instance, P&P would just provide the photos and let you decide (1 Token). Others that aren't as confident or would like us to review/verify could get that without needing photos (1 Token). There's a rarer group that want both P&P authentication AND photos to be provided (2 Tokens). It's similar to what we have now BUT it also give more choice for different pins or different types of traders. Hopefully everyone feels this is fair. It may take us a month or two to get this fully implemented.

Backer Cards

We know backer cards are important to many so we're currently thinking through how to better surface if they're included or not. They aren't important to everyone so we need to figure out something that can work for all. We do recognize their importance to many traders and sellers though.

Thanks to everyone that continues to help us improve and thank you for your patience with us as we try to improve our turn-around time on Trade Arcades. We're growing, but still a small team of workers and volunteers that love pins!

So just for clarification. I see sort of 3 parts to the process.

1. A lot can be learned from touching and seeing a pin in person, which only the Kansas team can provide
2. Photos
3. Research

In this new scenario it would be 1 token for 2 OR 1+3? Or 1+2 or 1+3? 2 Tokens for 1+2+3.

Because I don't usually need #3, Research but I would definitely still want 1+2. If a pin feels and looks bad, but I've asked for a photo, would I only get a photo, or also a note that the pin feels and looks wrong?
