I've found it to be random.. Some days we go and have to wait for a table others we are the only ones there... We tend to be there thurs and/or fri early afternoon
When we were there 3 weeks ago we didn't see any traders at the tables on any of the 3 days we went. Only cast member lanyard trading and the lanyards were full of scrapper pins of the same pins over and over. It was very disappointing.
I agree with the random nature. It's like a box of chocolates. Sometimes it's jam up. Some times it's dead. Sometimes it's a mix. Sometimes there are only sharks which really sucks. By sharks, I mean people who are making a living pin trading and who manipulate unsuspecting traders into trades to their (the shark's) advantage.
I'll never forget the first shark I ran into. She was a piece of work. Every pin she had was worth $50 on ebay. All of mine were junk (she wanted 2, 3 or 4 LEs from the store for each of her pins). Even my low LE pins which were, in fact, selling for $50 on ebay at the time, were junk.
If you're new to pin trading, be careful trading with folks there. Some are kind and will keep you from making a mistake. Some will fleece you. Last week we were the only ones at the tables when we were there.
