A Goofy Disney Knowledge Contest…

Well let’s see how crazy we can get the chat room going again… The chat room auction was insane… but to be honest I am still laughing about some of the post from the auction and for me that makes it all worth it… So I want to see how many people we can get in there at one time again… Why you ask??? Why Not???…LOL… I am going to give away a gift package to whoever can win my chat room knowledge contest… Insane??? Perhaps, but I am going to try it anyway…

This is how it is going to work…

In order to participate in the knowledge contest, you will need to be in the DPF Chat Room on Sunday July 1[SUP]st[/SUP] at 4:00pm PST…

I will post a question in the chat room that will be Disney Related or Disney Pin related. The first to post the correct answer will go to round 2… There will be 5 questions in round 1 that will get you into round 2…

At the end of round 1 we will have 5 people who will move forward into round 2… In round 2 only answers from the 5 remaining will be accepted… There will be two questions in round 2…

At the end of round 2 we will have 2 people who get to answer the final question in round 3… First to answer the final question wins…!!!

Now these questions will test your overall pin trading abilities… Testing you in Disney trivia, Character Knowledge, Pin Knowledge, and mostly computer pin research speed… The answers will be in the form of pin numbers, Character names…

8 Questions to test your knowledge… Be there and prove you’re the best and fastest pin trader… Perhaps we can even Re-Break the current chat room record of 47 people…

Again… In order to participate in the knowledge contest, you will need to be in the DPF Chat Room on Sunday July 1[SUP]st[/SUP] at 4:00pm PST…

Wow this sounds awesome! I'm supposed to be at my bfs byt I'm sure hethe will forgive me for taking time off for Disney matters! I just hope tgat he has decent internet or I'll be yelling at him =p. Don't even worry about it, that's what we're here for. Besides, it was fun being part of the old record being broken - and it will be fun to be part of what will be the shattering of that record.

However, while I appreciate that you are opening this contest to everyone (yes, mods too), you are going to have more than your hands full keeping things under control with your record-breaking crowds in chat. Consequently, I'm going to recuse myself from the contest and moderate and, if it becomes necessary, step in to help make sure this record-breaker runs as smoothly as possible. I won't be able to do that if my attention is divided between trying to win and keeping the chat game running smoothly - and of the two, the latter is far more important.

So, I got a package today from M. DuBois in Buena Park, CA. No note or anything and I'm wondering, is this a zap?!

Then I opened it, saw pins, and thought, hmm, I didn't order those pins. Then I looked at them closer and recognized one of them... :hsd:

So, without further fanfare, these are the pins I received for winning Goofy_Moe's contest!


Pin 60828: Character Moods - Grumpy

**This was the answer to one of the Round 1 questions - I believe I answered the question correctly first!** This pin was attached to its original card.

Next pin was:


Pin 420: DS - Countdown to the Millennium Series #95 (Three Caballeros)

Now, the Three Caballeros was the answer to one of the other trivia questions, but the answer (with the identification of the pin) was a Disney Auctions Jumbo pin (nope, didn't get that!) This pin was still sealed in its original bag.

This pin was wrapped in a little mini ziploc bag - scrapper? LOL. :wiggle: Of course not, since the mini bag is usually what DSF wraps their PTD pins in.
