13" White 250GB Macbook for sale
Hi guys!
Time for me to sell my old friend, Mrs. 13" Macbook. We had a lot of great times together, but now we have to break up... because she's not too pleased with me spending so much time with Mr. Fancypants Macbook Pro! (the only reason i upgraded was because there wasn't enough room to store my 11,000+ photos on the older macbook! I had far less photos than that prior to last summer, but then i had a baby, and have become a fanatical photographer, so i need room to store them all!!).
She is still a great macbook. 13", 250gb, white plastic case (unfortunately, she has a bit of a battle scar... a very small crack in her case, right below where my right wrist sits). Still runs like the day i brought her home, EXCEPT... her battery doesn't work very well. In fact, it doesn't work at all. So it works absolutely perfectly while plugged in, but shuts off the second it gets unplugged (i know, obviously less than ideal for someone who desperately wants the portability, but still great for someone who is happy with a home computer, or is happy to use it here and there, just not in between!). New batteries can still be purchased from the Apple store (about $100, i think). I've also wiped the hard drive clean and installed Snow Leopard, so she's ready to go with a fresh start!
I am sad to see her go (because i've secretly LOVED having two computers for a while now!), but there's no real reason to keep two, especially when i have some bills that i can pay off (who knew that babies cost money?! :lol: )
So, if anyone is interested, please email or PM me. I don't know what shipping costs would be, but i would only be looking for actual shipping costs (no additional handling or anything).
I'm hoping for $450 for my dear friend, or best offer (am i allowed to say "or best offer" here? if not, can a mod please delete this part? sorry, thanks!).
