17" LE Rapunzel Dolls (Purple Dress & Wedding)

That day last week when we *didn't* have a blizzard, haha, I rewatched "Tangled" and enjoyed it so much that I'm considering adding a few Rapunzel items to my collection. With that in mind, I thought I'd put out feelers on whether anyone here is looking to sell their 17" Purple Rapunzel and/or 17" Wedding Rapunzel doll(s). I expect to pay for them, of course, but am wondering if there are any better opportunities here than "the 'bay" (ie, slightly lower prices). Please PM me if you have either of these dolls for sale. Good luck! The wedding dress one is cheaper (definitely) but most people seem to be asking for close to the bay prices for Purple Rapunzel. She's at, what $700-800?

Yup, that seems to be the going rate: $750 to $850. But some darned lucky fool recently picked up BOTH on the 'bay for $650. Must've been an auction no one else noticed (or everyone was broke from Xmas shopping). Wish I'd decided I might want them sooner, ha ha, or I would have noticed that listing. I can wait it out, I guess ... not my strong suit but the better price I can get, the more likely I am to purchase. (Do I need a third collection????)

That's what I ask myself daily sometimes, LOL. I used to collect Barbies and some Disney dolls back in the 1990s/early 2000s and stopped. I started again with the Designer Princesses (only a few), Designer Fairytale Couples (only a few) and then the 17" Disney Designer dolls...UGH!!!

I think we are coming up again on "doll season" which means prices are picking up, again

I have the wedding one and she's beautiful, but I'm desperate for the Purple one too you can get the wedding one for about £160 on eBay, some are extortionate but some you just have to catch at the right time

I have the Purple Rapunzel (Cost me $800, ouch), I got Wedding Rapunzel for $300, Designer Rapunzel for $90 and Designer Mother Gothel $75.. It's crazy how expensive the dolls are now.. never mind the rest of the 3 main sets (notebook, mug, pin, and blank card for Designer Mother Gothel, Designer Rapunzel and Designer Flynn and Rapunzel) I have all three notebooks, mugs and cards. I can't wait to get my hands on Designer Rapunzel and Flynn and the original Mother Gothel and the three pins. Good luck on your search! They are beautiful dolls!!!
