So there was a loose 17" Mother Gothel doll on eBay. I showed my mom, seeing as it is almost my birthday, thinking maybe I could get her. I hate hate hate dolls deboxed, but I have been looking for her for so long, and the price was right, I just really wanted to go for it. My mother just commented saying "She looks like Cher" (thanks mom). That same day is the day of doom, where my car decided to die on me. So there went all of my month's worth of paychecks!! I pushed Gothel out of my mind. But then I saw that mother dearest had purchased her behind my back!! :shock: What a kind, sweet, loving mommy!

So considering I really detest having dolls without boxes, I would like to see if anyone has one that they are willing to sell or trade. OR if you have a boxed Gothel that you want to de-box, perhaps we could trade (+ money from me??). I know its a weird request for a rare doll, but I thought perhaps someone out there might have one to house this beautiful birthday gift!

Thanks, babe!! My momma is an angel :angel: Sometimes I think she loves my dolls more than I do! Lol.
And I'm not going to hold my breath, but I will cross my fingers! <3

Well, even if you can't get the box I have all the faith in the world that you will dramatically pose her and make that gorgeous outfit of hers look really beautiful!! Take lots of pictures when she arrives!!
 
Last night I was demolishing and throwing out some of my DS Tangled collection boxes - bulky plastic be gone! :rofl:
Good luck with your search. Every LE doll should have the number printed on their back that matches the COA, oh and she does look like Cher :p

Lol those boxes are huge! So much extra space xD
Thank you! She does come with her CoA, so that's a plus. But she is missing her brush ;-; I didn't really notice until after I saw momma paid but oh well! If I trade for a boxed one I would ask that the owner of the boxed one removes their brush and keeps it for themselves.
 
Aww best of luck!! I'm sure there's someone who doesn't want the box since the 17" boxes are pretty space consuming... At least you got her- she's absolutely gorgeous :) You should post pictures of her when she comes in!

Thank you! :) I don't know if I will be allowed to have her until after my birthday lol, but we will see! I'm excited!
And I hope so! I know a few people have loose dolls here, but IDK if they are willing to give up their boxes. I am willing to pay decent money for one though, so please, anyone, help a girl out!
 
Good luck on your box hunt Alex! Lol :) I let my Designer rapunzel out the box! Gasp! Lol. I love her to bits and I'm never going to give her up so let her outta that tower! Em I mean box!
 
I'm a deboxer, but unfortunately I don't have Gothel.. If I get her someday soon (when I win the lottery haha) and you still haven't fixed a box it's yours:).
