or joining...mine came along with the membership card, a "Thank You for Renewing" letter and a pen with the likeness of Walt's early signatures along with a replica of part of the last page of the contract that Walt signed essentially creating The Walt Disney company 90 years ago...

I just joined D23 and received my Welcome Package this weekend, but it did not come with the pin. Bummer. Maybe it is just for renewing?

Looking at the pinpics entrys for the 2011 and 2012 D23 membership pins, it appears the pins are sent out to members who renew their memberships by January 31st of each year.
