This weekend (May 2nd) I will be going to Epcot for the Flower and Garden Festival. This will be my firdt time at Epcot, first time at the Flower and Garden Festival, first time at a Disney "event" and my first time back at WDW since becoming a "legit" trader (joining the forums and learning all the great stuff you guys have here :P)

So, are there any tips or things I should look out for?

There may be a few pin traders at the tables outside the pin store. There were two of them when I was there a few weeks ago, even though it was a rainy day. And you will find a lot of cast members trading hidden mickeys. There also a few Flower & Garden Festival pins that are very cute.

The Flower & Garden Festival is morphing into something more like the Food & Wine Festival, so there are a lot of food and beverage kiosks throughout the World Showcase, as well as a number of venders selling garden items. There are also a number of specialty gardens (a butterfly garden, an English tea garden, a Shakespeare garden, etc.) and, of course, the character topiaries. Lots to see and do! Have a great time.
