Did you select Pin and Concessions or just Concessions?

 

I figured it out. I selected a 4-4:30 pm pick up time at first, then switched to 5-5:30, and saw the options for PTD.

When I clicked on there were 141 ahead of me. Got a Saturday 3:30-4 time slot and was able to get Go Go and Iago.

I am very excited that I managed to get in, though I wish there was one for my collections!

 

Yay! Got Dopey and Iago for tomorrow 2:00-2:30 pm

At the moment - Dopey shows available. Of course I cannot go.

18 minutes into the post on FB, I saw this. I clicked into the queue. 800+ in front.

Just under an hour, got in and to my surprise, ptds still left.

I was able to Spreading-the-Magic to a couple of friends (both mbrs).

I have the 4-4:30 time slot.

I'll admit, I'm seriously not looking forward to go up there tomorrow.

And I received an email last night about Pick Ups will be by Walk in?

Anyone have an update? Received that email too?

I have a 3:30-4 slot today. I did get an email with an update but it was to say that unlike last time with parking in the back, they were not providing parking, so I’m going to the usual Hollywood/Highland lot then walking over to the esplanade.

I went today about 1:45. There was about a 10 minute wait. Set up was completely within esplanade. I liked the Mulan set up more because it allowed me to pick up the pins in less than a minute with no line. This set up was tighter which made the wait longer that I skipped getting the popcorn just so I could
leave right away, since I was with my mom who dropped me off so I didn’t have to park.

Some pro tips:

1) My appointment was 5pm, which I had set because I had a busy day planned and didn’t expect to finish a lot earlier, so even when I got there 1:45 they still accommodated me.

2) My dad was supposed to help me pick up pins too but he had to back out last minute, so what I did was I carried his ID as well just to see if they would let me pick up even though I did not designate a pick up person for him, and DSSH wouldn’t accommodate name changes. DSSH wouldn’t condone this practice, but the CMs still let me pick up the pins under his name.

I'm on edge thinking the next set is going to drop any day now, since the time between the first and second online set was roughly two weeks, and tomorrow will be two weeks since the previous drop.

 

I have two questions:

1) Did the most recent set sell out?

2) If it didn’t sell out, will there still be a flip?

Yes, the last set sold out. I went to the link either later that afternoon or the next day just to see what would happen and there was a note saying the PTDs were sold out.

 

Why are we thinking tomorrow in particular?

Edit- never mind, just read back to timeerkat’s earlier post.

 

I have learned to not ask questions and just set the alarm lol...

I'll be checking in frequently today.

AFAIK they are still on the "we can drop them at any time, not on a particular schedule" so there is nothing official saying that PTDs will release today, but something in my bones is telling me it will be.

 

My bones lied to me.

 

I'm curious about this since I don't live nearby...how safe are they about exchanging the pins and concessions.
Do you actually get popcorn?

 

Yes, they actually give you popcorn. The area is set up for social distancing. There are spots where they have you wait, so you do not get to close to anyone else. The PTD slushie and popcorn are brought out and set on a table for you to pick up, so you do not get to close to cast members.
