I'm going to the Florida Project event at WDW for the first time in September and I need to sort out the RSPs. I have a couple of questions.

How many people are actually at the events? I assume there is a maximum number of tickets they can sell.

I'm a Figgy fan and the $400 PWP pin is a Figment. I think that in order to be able to buy that pin I need buy $400 worth of pins from the RSP but as it is random even if I put more than $400 I may not end up with that amount. Does anyone have any tips on how you manage this?

Does anyone have any tips on actually filling out the RSP? I get the put your must have pin in the number 1 slot but is it best to go buy edition size or is there another method?

Sorry I think I'm just confusing myself but I don't want to waste the opportunity.

Here is a possible suggestion. There are boxed sets and some traders only want that one pin in the whole box. You'll see co-ops starting now. Being from the UK, you can try and set up UK co-ops. Or offer some pins for others to purchase on your RSP. Just remember to list your must have first. We are doing the sic-fi academy and offered other pins we weren't interested to other members. We easily hit over the $500 mark and have helped out 7 other members.

A> I have been to several at WDW , usual attendance is 1500 or so.

I assume there is a maximum number of tickets they can sell.

A> yes by law building being used can only hold 1600 or so folks.

A> you can offer to order stuff to friends or members of DPF and collect when you recieve your rsp response,<mid aug I believe they said> this will tell you exactly which pins you got off of your RSp and allow you to collect from those you presold or arranged to trade for pins the cash or paypal to you.
If you are trying to reach a target number this is usually the best bet becuase many folks will chip in to buy a set, you however must have the credit to pay for it all prior to collecting because disney will charge your card when the rsp response is sent< dont spend the rent on pins!!>

A> I go by speciality, I am an annual passholder, those pins are lower and usually rare, so I make sure to get one and list it first. next I go by what you want in order of imoportance, forget LE.
If the pin you want most is an LE 500, but the lowest LE you want is an LE250 consider this.

I put pin A le 500 as first want, You put pin B LE 250 first want. When disney gives them out, theoretically, Each pin is gone thru for each level, If in the first tear only 100 people want pin B they all get it, If in the second round 150 want pin B they get it, 3rd and beyond , sorry? So the pins popularity as well as your desire rate a high degree on where you may want to list the pin on you RSP, List them in order of importance to you, with sales and what not following, unless your goal is the high dollar mark,<like you dont really care just want the 500 dollar figment, then list most expensive first to guarantee you get there without the lower levels being sold out.

A> your not confusing we all went to our first pin event once, most of us wish someone was honest enought to help us, some of us got it some did not, You asked , so you gets!!
Happy Hunting
See you in Sept!!

^^ Sounds like good advice to me..

That sounds like a great vacation for you to go to WDW and to a big pin event!

I hope you get what you want and that you are able to get the PWP.

Have fun and Enjoy! :)

I'm going to my first RSP event in June, but I only have to drive 30 minutes to get there.
