ZAPPED! A Hope-full Visit

On July 5th I finally got to meet a very dear DPF friend in person: Hope (hopemax). I am posting this 13 days late as a nod to this year's 13 Countdown Event (ok, I am *very* late, but this is my story and imma stick to it).
We had a nice, long road trip and included Denver too, so I could meet Hope. My husband still thinks that we went to CO for the mountains
She was kind enough to remember that my daughter's Birthday was coming up and put a gift basket together for her 8th birthday.
It was chock-full-of Disney goodies to make a little girl happy
The Alice draw-string bag will be used for her dance shoes and it is much appreciated. The Thumper plush is already on her bed, and we decided to attach a key chain to the little Thumper figure to hang it from her school bag - or maybe momma will bogart it, not sure yet. The little square with Belle's picture on it is a music box that plays "Tale as old as Time".
And here is the kicker: Ariel crayon box is signed by Jody Benson. How cool is that !!
Dear Hope did not forget me either. I got 2 very special pins from her:
I enjoyed the Disney box she used for my new pins as much as the pins themselves.
Thank you so much dear Hope. Just a heads up: We might come your way again for X-mas. Ready your baskets :rofl:
