Welcome to A POOR STUDENT'S ART AUCTION​

Sob Story First............So, being a poor student I don’t have much monies for pins. (I know terrible)​
So instead I am going to hold an art auction. I am not expecting much from this as a first time but thought it would be a bit of fun and also a celebration as Friday is my last exam of the exam period and then semester doesn’t start till February so I have time to do something artsy.

This Auction will finish 13/01/15 at 10pm GMT

So mediums I use are Paints, chalk pastel, sharpie markers and pencil.

I predominantly draw/paint etc anything Disney or animal based in which ever medium you choose. I can also paint on to cork boards if I find any. The maximum size will be A4 or A3 due to postage. I can draw other things if there was something else you preferred but less well practiced

Choose from -

  • [*]Paper/ Card (A4 or A3) with Pencil or Sharpie or chalk pastel
    [*]Greetings card with Pencil or sharpie
    [*]Canvas (A4 or A3) in Acrylic
    [*]Cork Board (What ever size I can find but likely A4 or A3) with Acrylic

As this is for art I am not too particular about what I am after. My current collections include:

Looooooooooooooove the jungle animals. :') Pastels are so great, and you did a wonderful job on them. Sadly I'm already over on postage money this month, but excellent work!! And best of luck with your auction!

Don't you or anybody ever be afraid to bid against me!!! I am never afraid to go against anybody for any thing I want and I hope everybody else will do the same. It would not be fair to the auctioneer to not bid on something just because I am involved. :nono:

Awesome art indeed! Looking at your art on DeviantArt, I can't decide if I like the pastels, sharpie or paints better. Wow, I've always been envious of artistic people. LOL, I can't even draw proper stick figures. ;) Beautiful work, Xanadu.

I can't see the pics, might be because I am currently on my phone. Could you please put the pinpics no. Just in case :-) thank you for your bid.

Okay, the last 8 hours or so so final art samples and a leader board are in order.

Firstly a very quick thank you !!!!! (A quick sharpie Marker drawing)

Not disney related but has I haven't put up many cards samples here is just two of the kind of cards I have made, the crests and patterns are all sharpie drawn.



Finally, The leader Board currently stands as:

1st Place, Docfish2u
2nd Place froggyway (honestly still toying between you and docfish2u, both amazing bids so coud change haha)
3rd, lynn99 (Was so tempted by this, I love frozen and the pins are so pretty and would have made an amazing trader haha)

I am okay with that ( as this is not the most conventional auction) if it is definitely going to be in your possession as obviously the art isn't to hand haha Also that pin is amazing.

Leader board.

1st Lynn99 - if I had a grails list (really need to do that) this may be on it.

2nd Froggerway (sorry for the earlier misspell was rather late haha) and Docfish2u ( the pins bid are so close I can't really decide but as this isn't a tie for first is fair to have a joint 2nd)
