Adopt-A-Newbie Awareness​

Hey fellow DPF members! I just wanted to let you know that I made a thread here called Adopt-A-Newbie where you get the chance to become a Big Sister / Big Brother to DPF newbies on this forum!

Our goal for the Newbie Care Package is to make a little kit of about 3 pins with other misc. things such as mailer envelopes, bubble wrap, mailing labels, tapes, stationery... and send them to DPF newbies! Romancing_Train and I had the idea that maybe we can also send a "how to" letter that can act as a guide. Feel free to email or PM me guides / how to that you think I should print out to be included in each Newbie Care Package!

This is where I need your help! By signing up to be a Big Sister/Big Brother, your sponsor will help jump start a newbie's adventure to the world of pin trading!

Adopt a newbie... Very cute. I tend to just... Answer newbie questions patiently and thoroughly all the time anyway. So I dont think I should adopt just one. :)

I like the idea of the care packages, I actually already have one put togther for when they set up secret santa. I like to send my secret person stuff regularly until chrismahanzquanzica. ((or however that is spelled))
 
Yes, please! Adopt a newbie, because I am OBVIOUSLY losing my mind with all this pin craze! I am tending to not READ things correctly...(ptn on SATURDAY instead of FRIDAY, and the Fantasyland Preview Pin should have been ordered a MONTH ago) silly me for thinking you buy the pin AT the event. I obviously need help! :facepalm:

I promise to you all that I am not crazy or "on something!" I am just trying to find a balance between getting to know you all (there are a lot of you!) following through on my online trades (because I REALLY like doing it!) and doing all my real life "stuff." (2 Kids!) lol :)

OoooOoo! Secret santa on DPF? That sounds cool! I hope I can participate since it'll be my first time doing Secret Santa here then ^_^ do you just send pins or other little goodies?

No worries :) We all understand that sometimes real life "stuff" gets in the way. If you ever delay in shipping a pin or whatnot just let the other person know. I'm sure they will understand!
