I'm expecting a fairly light turnout, probably in the 300-500 range. I'd say a medium chance of a surprise release - I don't think there was a surprise at last year's patriotic release, but there are a few characters they like using for the 4th of July pins that aren't already here. Perhaps a surprise Tiana, Oliver/Dodger, or Judy?

Two PTDs are still available - Pedro and Mr. Willerstein - so it's not likely that we will get a new set, or even that either of these will sell out during the release.

No word yet about a Coffee Bean deal but I'd be very surprised if they didn't have one.

If there is a Tiana, put me on the list! I think a fairly light turnout is likely just because none of the characters are suuuper popular besides maybe Mochi....

The patriotic series tend to not have too high of a turnout. I think a few years ago, for the shield-shaped ones, there were still ones left over after the release. And while these characters are popular, they aren't SUPER popular like Ariel or Rapunzel or even if they had used Stitch instead of Lilo.
 
Surprise Mickey sold out at around person 169. I ordered it and right before I put in my credit card for payment processing they announced he was sold out. Whah whah!

Pedro PTD also sold out before I got in the store. Rumor was that Willerstein was down to the last 10. I bought one for my pickup thread; he didn’t sell out then but I’ll be keeping an eye out on Facebook in case he actually does sell out and flips.
 
I was surprised only 260 showed up.

Really think these pins are under-rated. I love the pin on pin design and the balloon art. I like these more than the oval and shield patriotic pins that came out in the past years.

I also thought these looked better than the ice cream carton pins; and those pins sold out by end of the long weekend.
