ZAPPED! An open letter to the members of DPF - Thank you ALL so very much!!
I am so bad at this! Every time I get a zap, I set it aside and think, "I need to take a picture of this and post a 'thank you' note on DPF!"
Then days/weeks/months go by and I suddenly realize, I NEVER posted :facepalm: Now I can't find the pin(s) to take pictures, and I start to think it's too late to say "thanks"... *sigh*
In the past few months, I have been zapped by (in no particular order):
Rasputin (an extra piece of a collection came in an auction trade - which is awesome, because that one piece would have been challenging to find on its own!)
Starry_solo (extra pins in various packages, including trades, game prizes, and "out of the blue" packages)
Rocke01 (extra pins in game prizes and an unbelievable Lady and the Tramp PODM "Grail MOST holy" hand-to-hand zap)
TenderHeart (gorgeous framed pin, plus extra pins in trade packages)
Docfish2u (extra pins in trade packages)
Romancing_Train (extra pins in trades through the mail and hand-to-hand)
Ksnuggles (extra pins in trades)
ALittleBitofMagic ("out of the blue" packages)
Psycho Pixie (ZAP Pinsanity, with extras)
Mulanrocks (extra pins in game packages)
Story (extra pins in purchases)
Zagales14 (a "52 weeks" zap)
Saphenous (extra pins in a purchase package)
Maleficent913 (extra pins in a trade package)
I am sure I am forgetting someone, because I did this list strictly from memory, and my memory is a lot like I am - it's very very good.... Just a little short. :lol:

If you zapped me and I didn't mention your name here explicitly, "Thank you very much for the lovely zap!!"

I do love this forum, and the people I have had a chance to meet, and the people I haven't met yet! I especially love the generosity of the people here - I love reading the zap threads, because it restores my faith in human nature! I am overwhelmed by things I read about, like Ida's bike, and charity events, and childrens' hospitals, and mysterious gifts, and big boxes of joy that are sent to people every month! Even if there is an occasional mean-spirited exchange, there is such a preponderance of kindness and happiness and generosity, it makes me proud to be affiliated, no matter how little, with a group like this!
