If you are a pin trader headed to WDW, my advice is to not overlook Animal Kingdom for pin trading and for LE pin purchasing. Today marks the second time in a month for me that Animal Kingdom had LE pins in stock that were out of stock in the other parks. In the Frontier Trading Post at the Magic Kingdom, they were either out of stock or had not yet received most of the LE pins that were released in the last few weeks. I fared no better at Epcot, and in fact Epcot didn't even have all of the Flower & Garden Festival pins available yet, even though the festival has already begun. But, once again, all of the recently-released LEs were still available in Animal Kingdom (plus, they have two places where you can purchase LE pins, not just one).

Maybe it's just me, but it also seems like AK has a lot more CMs trading than the other parks and they are trading betters pins. They also have pin boards in the stroller area, a pin-covered trash can, and some pin covered parrots at Disney Outfitters.

Where's the second store in AK? I know the one just past the bridge (Riverside Merchantile maybe?)

The main store is Disney Outfitters, and the LE pins are located behind the counter (you have to ask to see them or tell the CM what you want). But the Pin Trading Cart in Africa also sells LE pins.

Shhh! Stop telling people!!! J/k but yeah, I have done the 4:30pm AK sprint with the CM on the tram going "but we're closing in 15 minutes!" "That's ok! I just want pins!" That's how I got a flock of villaintines pins two weeks after they were sold out elsewhere.

Animal kingdom is the best especially since they added the carts outside of outfitters. Another great spot is at the contemporary. They always have a lot of the LE pins for sale, and there are multiple boards there too.

AK is actually our second fav. park. And totally agree about finding pins there. So many available that I could mot find elsewhere and for this VT family, we like that
