I know everyone loves to speculate so lets do this! Here are the movies that have actual anniversaries this year! What would you like to see at DSF? Or at DLR? What kinds of things would you expect to see? What would you like to have happen?

Anniversaries:
Peter Pan (February 5, 1943) - Already Done!
Sword in the Stone (December 25, 1963) 50th Anniversary
Robin Hood (November 8, 1973) 40th Anniversary
Brother Bear (October 20, 2003) 10th Anniversary
(Ending in "0" anniversaries)

Melody Time (May 27, 1948) 65th Anniversary
Oliver and Company (November 13, 1988) 25th Anniversary
Mulan (June 19, 1998) 15th Anniversary (DSF DONE!)
Bolt (November 21, 2008) 5th year anniversary
(Anniversaries ending in 5)

Possible releases due to anniversary skipped?
-Aladdin (November 25, 1992) 20th anniversary

I know Little Mermaid is coming out this year, although it's anniversary is next year, but I believe Ariel is going to be this years big Princess (Last year was Cinderella), so Ariel may have a ton
more merchandise in stores.

Well, last year was the 10th anniversary for Treasure Planet, and there was a special Blu Ray edition in stores but no pins were released, unfortunately. I'm guessing Brother Bear might get ignored for a special pin release, too, given how it didn't do very well at the box office, either.

Melody Time's pretty obscure but I know I'd love a special pin commemorating it.

I know it's a short time period but I hope they make Princess and the Frog 5 year anniversary pins at DSF just because they completely skipped out on making any pins for that movie at the time of the movie's release. A marquee or Beloved Tales would be nice... :naughty:

So many anniversaries, would be particularly interested to see what / if they bring out for Sword in the Stone 50th Anniversary, Robin Hood 40th Anniversary, Brother Bear 10th Anniversary (especially love this movie!) and Oliver and Company 25th Anniversary as they are all interesting movies most of which are under rated pinwise in my opinion :)

I think though that Robin Hood might recieve some kind of special pins at DSF, strangely enough it does seem to be a 'cult' classic and receives quite a few pins there once in a while.

50th and 25th anniversaries will most likely get something as those are huge numbers....Here's to moar kittehs!!

Well, they didnt do anything really for Bambi's anniversary last year and we REALLY need a marquee for that one! I really hope they do a set for Robin Hood.

They've been doing some pins when they release them on blu ray or 3D too, so maybe we'll get some that way. I just hope they continue doing different characters this year and mixing it up a little rather than the usual Jessica, Stitch, AIW/Cheshire Cat, and Chip and Dale.

OMG, are you kidding me? I knew about Peter Pan, but Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood also have big anniversaries this year? All three of my favorite Disney movies? I'm gonna be broke... :anxious:

My girlfriend is a big fan of Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood. Looks like I'll be going broke with you!

They could have made the robin hood valentines day pin because of this anniversary... which means they maybe will be releasing more?
