This one looks like it should be easy-peasey to find...it's driving me crazy that I can't.

The pin is a regular OE-size pin of Mickey in a red nightshirt and white nightcap. His eyes are closed and he is yawning, with his right hand over his mouth. His left hand is holding a candle in an old-style dish-type candle holder.

The back of the pin is the fine gold "waffle" pattern, and in a small (smooth, not waffle), and in it, top to bottom, says Disney (with copyright circle), The Disney Store, and CHINA.

I'm thinking it looks like part of a set, and also maybe from the Japan Disney Store. Maybe from some Xmas set?

I've had this problem for a LONG time, for some reason this site won't let me add a picture (I've tried all different ways), that's why I wrote the detailed description. If someone wants to PM me their e-mail address, I'll take a picture and e-mail it and then it can be posted here.

Not necessarily, and sometimes they are but don't necessarily have "LE" stamped on them. (But it may not be from Japan, the backstamp just looks like some from Japan that I have that say "Disney Store.")

I have a feeling this one may not be on Pinpics (I mean, hey, if JUDY can't find it! LOL.)

The mystery continues...
 
That's what I'm thinking, maybe not on Pinpics yet. But it looks like I was on the right track as far as maybe being a Xmas pin or something, because you can see by Stitch2814's picture the Mickey on that pin looks almost exactly like my pin! Well, now you all know what my pin looks like, thanks Judy.
 
I tried many of those, but with different spellings of Mickey, just in case the adder made a typo. Didn't find anything.

Then I tried most of them without Mickey altogether. Just "candle" "yawn", etc. More pins to look through that way, but I figured this pin would stand out with that bright red gown... but I still didn't find anything.

I don't think it's listed yet. And if anyone has added it in the past, they didn't do a very good job.

When I add pins to the database, I try to include every possible keyword I can think of, for ease of finding it later:
1. the name of every character on the pin, as well as the type of animal they are, if not human
2. if the character is wearing a different outfit than usual, I describe the outfit.
3. the movie or movies that the characters are from
4. other objects on the pin that the characters are manipulating, standing on, hanging from, etc.
5. the colors on the pin
6. all words and symbols on the front AND back of the pin
6. origin of the pin and how it was used (if I know)
7. lastly, I proofread for typos
 
Same here, I tried all sorts of descriptions: Mickey in night shirt, night cap, pajamas, sleeping, yawning, holding candle, Mickey christmas, etc. *Nuttin'* Finally (with dread, for my eyes) I went to the pin group listing of "Mickey...Just Mickey" and looked through those (ahhhhhh! I'm blind!), also with no result. I'm convinced it's not listed yet.

Judy, do you want to list it? I guess I could take a better picture of it with a regular (not cell) camera and get it in the computer.

Okay Judy, I'll take a picture of the pin and give you its "stats," but I have to check with hubby, it's his pin from his collection (he has a gazillion pins and I've been listing them in Pinpics of and on for a few years now), so it may not be for trade. But I will ask him!

I should be able to get the picture/info on it to your e-mail tomorrow (Sunday).
 
DoomScarf, yes of course, the size! I include that too.

I was mainly just talking about the things that help others find the pins later, using the search function. Searching for "1 1/2 x 2 inches" isn't going to help anyone. Haha.
