I am sure this has come up before but I just was perusing the interwebs when I came to this.

http://www.discountdizneypins.com/

Keeping this real short and sweet so here it goes.

Because of my past experiences with scrappers online or in the parks I automatically assume these are all not legitimate pins. I read the front page and it seems to have that "ebay scrapper" feel to it.

Anyone know more information on this website? Has anyone ever purchased from them?

The other alarming thing was that they have not updated the website since Oct 2011 ( odd but whatever)

Thanks guys!

**** I will NOT be buying anything from here. Unless I get some positive feedback from you all and it proves legit which I highly doubt anyway!****

It's hard to tell if it's legit. I mean the website looks nice and the prices aren't super cheap either. My issue is that they don't seem to have much of the pins I really want except for two. I had bought pins from a website similar to this one a long time ago and they were legit and are still in business. However they took forever to ship me my pins.

I would contact them and ask politely where they get their pins from. Hopefully they are legit.

I think they are legit. If you notice, most of their pins are older, stuff that has not been around for some time & they are not valuable pins, per se.
Their prices seem fair, no giveaways plus most of the pins they offer have not been scrapped to the bst of my knowledge,

looking at some of the pins they have for sale I wouldnt say they are dodgy or anything.

Looking at the donald pin, it it could just be the scanner that makes the pin look gold rather than silver but then it is a hidden mickey so cant be to careful with those.

So stay away from this site if it's silver.
Aaaaand...this is how misinformation spreads.

This design was originally released in gold, and they were larger pins (I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think they may have been Disneyland exclusive). Some years (?) later, smaller and silver pins of the same design were released (again, can't remember, but I think they were WDW exclusive). So the pin in question being sold from that site could very well be Disney authentic, please do research first! I know these pins are listed on Pinpics (I'll check and edit my post here).

Later...

Okay, here are links to the Pinpics listing of both pins:
