I notice in the Auction House section, a couple of people have auctioned off their own original artwork/sketches for pins.

I was wondering whether there's any rules on this? Does the art need to be Disney-related? The sticky post of Auction rules doesn't cover anything but pins up for auction.

I'm curious because I have some original art pieces of my own that need homes; right now they're just closed up in portfolios, and it would be nice to have them go to someone who would enjoy them. (I used to sell and/or display in convention art shows but it's just so much hassle to cart everything around.) But none of it is Disney-related, and I don't want to do anything inappropriate here.

I just realized that maybe I should have posted this in the Helpdesk forum.

Possibly I should contact a mod directly?

There is an anything goes section that I would think it should be ok to post it in... If your items are impressive, I am sure someone will send you a PM indicating their interest... But many traders like to use pins as payment as apposed to money if that is not a problem with you... LOL

Oh no, I didn't mean for money, I meant specifically for pins. I've seen two Trade Auctions where the item being auctioned off was a sketch/artwork rather than a pin. So I wondered how common that was, and whether it should be Disney-related or not.
