Hey everyone!

I have been collecting many many pins the past few months, and I am now confronted with a problem. I would like to know how to store them?

I like the "messenger bag" thing with the pin trading logo that has sleevees. But I checked the Disney store and they only have one and its a "Jack" one and I want the original one. Anyone know where I can get one?

Also I see a lot of people with a quark board?

Any other suggestions? Please let me know! :D THANKS!!! :D

I have trader bags, the ones from the parks. I have one with 2008 on and a grey one with the Mickey pin trading logo on with "Disneyland Paris" at the bottom :)
Also I have 1 cork board up for my nightmare pins :)

It depends if you want them tucked away (pin bags) or out on display (cork boards)

Some people make frames with cool backgrounds. And also sometimes shadow boxes are used for frames. I think it can also depend on how creative you are. With me thats a zero lol so im a regular pin bag and cork board :D

I've been wanting to get a pin bag myself; there's a Haunted Mansion one I really want but its quite expensive. For now I keep my pins in a box. ^_^;

I feel that most pin traders will end up with a variety of pin bags and binders.

My wife and myself have a pin wallet for a majority of pins that are pulled out of mystery pouches/boxes and didn't come with a backer card or Hidden Mickey pins. This is our CM or kid trader book.

Regular sized pin bags for open edition/rack pins or pins for which we've traded and there wasn't a backer card. These are usually our keeper books and are used primarily for storage.

Zippered binders with baseball card trader pages or cardboard stock and full page plastic binder sheets. These books have the pins with backer cards or fully completed mystery pouch/box sets. Mostly used for our trader books or for keepers with backer cards.

There is really no right or wrong way to store pins and you end up with a little trial and error to determine what works best for you. I will say that the zippered binder and baseball card trader pages are very convenient for the pins with backer cards, as most traders prefer to trade limited edition pins ONLY if the backer card is with the pin and they will likely not bother to consider trading certain pins if the backer cards are not readily visible.

Hope that helps.

I started off on cork boards when my collection was smaller, but since it just seems to keep growing, I've been slowly transferring them to pin bags. I purchased my bags from WDW when I was there in December, but eBay works too. As much as I love my bags, I do miss my corkboards sometimes.

My traders that have cards I put in a regular binder in card sleeves and all of the traders without backers I have a smaller, cheap pin bag that I use.

Thanks everyone! Lots of great advice!!! :D

I think I am going to look into the bags. I have all the backing to all my LE pins and I like the look of pins in the bags without the backing, but I will save for selling/trading purposes :D

THANKS AGAIN!
