Becoming a completist?

We are completists with the WDI Sorcerer Hat Mystery Sets (we own every one except the Dale Error Pin), the DLRP Pin Trading Nights (missing four: Tink, Stitch, Chip and Dale, Grumpy) and Beloved Tales (have them all, but the future looks pretty dim...lol).

Good luck with PatF, particularly the two LE25s.

RIGHT?! I'm so determined though. Tiana has not left me down so far so I know they're out there somewhere. lol I want Tiana to sign all my pins too especially my DP of her.

Great advice guys, thanks! I'll be sure to take many pauses throughout the day.

I just recently started pin trading and I chose to start with Bolt as there aren't many pins....now I'm just down to the marquee, name tag, legacy pin & soda bottle.....not sure how often the marquee comes around but it doesn't look promising so far lol

Nice! Bolt is a really cute collection. I haven't seen the movie all because I fear I might start collection him. lol I have a soft spot for dogs.

that's exactly how I feel about the Chicken Little marquee :cry:

I'm 2 pins closer! I got the name tag as a zap from NBLAUGHS! And bought the marquee from Catburger! So close I can taste it.

What have you/have attempted to complete in the past?


I collect Tigger. My Tigger collection is believed to be the most COMPLETE of any collection out there. Not only do I have EVERY pin on Pinpics with Tigger...I also have many that are not listed there (some 500+). I have 86 complete sets of DA/Shopping Medal Color sets...and many one of a kind items.

My collection contains: PPs, APs, Prototype, Canceled projects, Error Pins and every metal color I can get my hands on. I also have the scrapper versions (so I can compare) and bootlegs.

How hard was that collection to complete?

Some pins were impossibly hard...and believe they took divine intervention getting to me. Others in my collection were simply unwanted, sad little items..that belonged in my massive stripy world.

I mean..for me my completionist illness has forced me to not only have the bootleg pin of Jessica Rabbit doing bad things with Tigger - I had to get every boot color.....😛


Any tips for a beginning completist that you could pass down?

Completionist behavior is truly an obsessive compulsive disorder...it can be truly fun..or dominate your life. You have to decide what completionist/completist means. Don't let anyone else tell you what it means....

I tired to contact you via your web site, but it seems that the mailbox is full. Trying to get identify of the submarine pin on third row, below the hostess pin.
