Hey all, I just got back from Disneyland last week and I finally took the plunge. I decided I needed to start pin trading. Now it is time to dive into the internet side. I have purchased a few pins of Ebay, hoping I did not get scrappers or fakes. I think the first pin I got, a stitch hidden micky' might be a scrapper as the colors are just off on it. Hopefully this forum will allow me to increase my knowledge and not fall into this trap again.

Welcome to the forum! I hope you like it here.

Scrappers suck, but keep in mind almost all of us accidentally purchased a few when we started out, so you're not alone! Don't let it discourage you.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Welcome to DPF!

:)

I agree with sorapandora, I think we've all had newbie experiences with buying pins when we first started out! Faster to learn anyway! And yes, there is a ton of information here on how to spot fakes and scrappers!

Good luck with your collecting and trading!
