Does anyone else "collect" for their spouse?

My husband is a firefighter/paramedic, and I'd like to say this is his collection, but honestly, it's really my collection for him! I guess you could call me a his personal collector. 😊

I've had so much fun tracking down firefighter-themed pins and putting this collection together. It's been a great way to combine my love of pin collecting with something meaningful to him, and I really love how it turned out.

Does anyone else have a collection inspired by their husband, wife, or another family member?

I collect horses and carousel pins for my wife. We share our firefighter collection.
Wow!! We definitely have a lot in common with our collecting! We both collect firefighter and carousel pins, which is such a fun coincidence. It’s always exciting to find another collector with similar interests, especially since both of those collections are a little less common.

I collect pins for a family member who loves Dug, but since they are not really a pin collector and don't care about specifics, I get to be fussy and curate the collection so it's only Dug by himself, mostly in just cutout poses, but a few with backgrounds, and I have to think the art looks good or the pin does not stay in the collection. lol Of course, I've also gotten that family member Dug plushies and the popcorn bucket that came out a while ago until they said stop, the big stuff was taking up too much room! 😀 So I try to stick just to pins now.

I can definitely relate. Mrs. AJK doesn’t collect pins and yet has several bags housing her collections which include Mei (as Panda), Pepita, Grogu, and bunnies (of course).

Your “husband’s” looks great! Thanks for sharing it.

I often wonder how people collect popcorn buckets. Where do they all go?! Who has that kind of space?!

I am collecting the Magical Theater set to give my brother when he gets his BA in theater arts. And he’d better love it! Because I love it for him.

My daughter in law's kitchen cabinet tops are filled to capacity with popcorn buckets.

The popcorn bucket was great
