Hi, I am in the process of re-organizing my collection, as some have outgrown their boards. My favorite board came with black cork on it already and I would love for all of them to have that black background. I don't want to ruin them nor do I want them to leave paint on the back of the pins, or make it easier for them to fall off.
Is it possible to use paint? if so do you guys recommend any particular type?
TIA

you can use a flat acrylic paint. I know Echo harmony paints cork boards and I've seen a few other people do it as well.

Also if you'd rather you can use paper and collage stuff, that way you can take it down if that collection out grows it and and it's less of a pain then repainting it :3

What I did was paint it all white then I used oil paints to paint onto the White and my princess and the frog board came out fine but be warned it will take around a week to dry hope this helps

I painted my pin boards with acrylic paint and then I sprayed them with a sealant - also used some spray glitter!
