Hello Everyone!

Its been a while since I have been able to post much on the forums, but I wanted to share some info and ask for a favor. Comic Con will be upon us in a few weeks, and all kinds of news buzzing around the convention is starting to make its way onto the internet. Recently, one of these announcements was that Bandai will be selling a limited edition figure of Baymax from Big Hero 6 at the convention this year. He will be in a metallic finish and limited edition box and will be sold for $30.

Now, normally, a lot of these figures would be released online on a certain website for a limited time, so those who cant go to the convention have a chance to pick him up. This time though, I don't think he will be released online. I live on the east coast so sadly I will not be able to attend the convention to get him. I was wondering if someone would be willing to pick him up for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I know scalpers will probably put him on eBay for a much higher price. Thanks! :)
 
I am quite sure these will be limited to one per person, and not only will they likely sell out within the first few minutes, but it may require standing in line for a VERY long time. Good luck getting one. Not to be a negative nancy, but I do comic con every year and I know what it takes to get something like this. I recommend getting it off of eBay if you find one for less than $60.

Beat me to the punch. The Bandai line at SDCC is insane. I'd offer but I know I won't be able to get any.
I would like to say though if anyone does manage to find someone who can get them please be courteous and offer a generous finder's fee. This is my 13th year at SDCC and I cannot stress the hassle that it is to get things for people (such as the 20 Monster High SDCC Exclusives I have to pick up this year). Plus exclusives are the one thing that are likely to cause car break-ins.

I saw pictures online, how cute! Does the LE one allow you to take the armor off, because I LOVE the unarmored version, so adorable. I may have to buy the one that disassembles just to play with :D Thank you so much for posting about this! I will try to get one. I have some friends going so I will try and get multiples but as others have stated, it will probably be impossible... Even though I have a preview night badge and we line up around 11am to be let in at 6pm, all the vendors inside usually buy everything before guests get in. :(
 
it's actually available at the Disney Big Hero 6 booth, not Bandai. and armor does not come off. there is a non-exclusive version of Baymax out in September that lets you remove/put on his armor. More information and photos at link above of both (and many other toys)

I want this one (below), the non-exclusive. As for the exclusive, I don't think I am even going to try for that. If it is was on preview night sure, nothing going on then, but they are giving out tickets Thurs-Sun morning to buy one and those days in the mornings we are in line for other things. If serendipity happens and I'm in the right place at the right time I will try and get one to bring back for members here :)
