Well. I'd probably do something in the ATC size range then, which is baseball card sized. Stamped on cardstock you'd have something workable. Either coloring it in would work or using a multi-colored pad.

And a carve I did for a pin exchange a year ago:
And a favorite of mine, also a favorite beer logo of mine from a brewery down here, from two years ago:
