This may seem an odd request...

I go to the parks (Disneyland/DCA) about once a month with my best friend. On our last trip... at the end of February/beginning of March I fell in love with this adorable shot glass I saw at a shop in DCA...

...But I decided to put off buying it until my next trip, since I had forgotten my Disney gift card at home that day. I didn't think it would sell out, because there were quite a lot of them that day.

But I went there again on Monday, and they were nowhere to be found. (I went in about ten shops looking!) Lots of Jessica Rabbit shot glasses, Donald Duck shot glasses, all the shot glasses that were there the first time, but no Alice.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone happen to have an extra of these shot glasses lying about in their home? One they'd be willing to sell to me? Or... Would one of you frequent WDW visitors be willing to check the stores there for me? I believe the shot glass was priced at $6.99, but it may have been $7.99. I'd be happy to pay for shipping, too, of course.

(Before you ask, YES, I have found this glass on eBay and a couple of unofficial Disney collectible stores online, but it would cost me about $20 with shipping, and I would just prefer not to spend that much for a little shot glass.) You better believe I am kicking myself for not buying it that day... Would have been even less than $7 with my annual pass. :banghead:

Hi there! I actually saw your post about this glass and decided I needed to own one. =) I agree with you about the overpricing on eBay, but I live in NJ (no Disney parks here, ha ha) so I contacted Merchandise Customer Service. They got back to me with an item number and I placed an order. The shipping is probably still more than you want to spend (I ordered a couple of other things, which made it worth my while), but maybe if you call them and ask, they can direct you to a particular shop in Disneyland that sells them? Then next time you go, at least you won't waste a lot of time looking for it. The item number is: #400006820679. Good luck! (And thanks for the hot tip, ha ha!)

Hi there! After seeing your post, I decided I needed to own one of these, too! Since I don't live near any of the parks, I contacted merchandise guest services. The item # for this is 400007002487. The shipping fee is probably still more than you'd want to spend (I ordered a bunch of stuff so it was worth it), but maybe if you call they could at least tell you what stores in DLR actually carry it? Then you wouldn't have to spend too much time & energy on your next visit searching for it. Sorry, if I'd thought of it at the time I should have ordered two--but I got the message and snuck out of my office to the car to place the order. :-P Anyway, good luck, and thanks for the hot tip! ;-)
