This is a slightly modified version of existing trading rules, updated as of May 18, 2025.

Greetings, and welcome to the DPF Marketplace - Pin Trading Forum!​

To ensure a positive, engaging, and trustworthy trading experience for all members, we require that you meet the following requisites before posting a for sale/trade thread:

• You must be a member of the forum for at least 7 days
• You must have contributed a minimum of 15 posts in any forum across the site

These requirements serve two important purposes:

• First, they encourage active participation and engagement within our community, fostering a vibrant and dynamic environment for all members.
• Second, they help build trust among traders by ensuring that those involved in transactions have demonstrated a commitment to the forum and have established a track record of positive interactions.

1. You may post your authorized/authentic & physical Disney pins for trade in the Pin Trading forum, as well as requests for pins you are looking to acquire through trading.
2. You cannot post digital pins for trade in this forum (you can put it in the Other For Sale/Wanted section of the marketplace)
3. To maintain an organized and clutter-free forum, please adhere to the following guidelines:
   • Limit "bumping" your post to once a day.
   • Restrict yourself to a maximum of four (4) active trade threads: (2) for physical pins you want to trade for and (2) for physical pins you are trading away. Ideally, they should be in the same thread, but this option is available in case you are amenable to trading for pins that are not on your list.
   • Please mark your threads as
     
     
     
     (by changing the prefix) once you have completed a trade as a courtesy to other members. Sorry, we do not have an "Ended" prefix.
   • Ask an Admin or Mod to merge your similar trade threads for the convenience of other members and to avoid unnecessary forum crowding.
   • Mods and Admins reserve the right to combine, close, or remove any redundant threads/posts by a single member at their discretion.
4. Counterfeited or scrapped pins are strictly prohibited and may not be traded in this forum.
5. All trades are conducted at the risk of the individuals involved. Please ensure that you make safe, intelligent, and secure shipping arrangements. DisneyPinForum.com is not responsible or liable for:
   • The pins traded in this forum;
   • The integrity of a product's representation;
   • Any trades that go unhonored;
   • The shipment or transport of any items.
6. DisneyPinForum.com does not promote or endorse any products listed for trade in this forum.
7. These rules are subject to change at the discretion of DisneyPinForum.com.
8. If you are looking to buy or sell fantasy pins or other Disneyana items, including digital / virtual pins, please post your items and requests in the designated "Fantasy Pins for Sale/Wanted" or "'OTHER' For Sale/Wanted/Trade" DPF Marketplace categories.

If a trade goes past the 30 day mark and you have not received the item, or any form of customs number for international shipping, we recommend leaving feedback that properly reflects the situation (i.e. negative). If the situation is resolved after feedback is left, it can be altered if requested by the one who left it.

Remember, communication is the key to successful trades!

Looks like this little tidbit didn't make it into the updated rules. Updated permissions aren't instantaneous. It's a process the server runs regularly, but it can take a day or so to propagate.
