This is a slightly modified version of existing sales thread rules, updated as of May 18, 2025.

Greetings, and welcome to the DPF Marketplace - Disney Pins for Sale/Wanted Forum!​

To ensure a positive, engaging, and trustworthy trading experience for all members, we require that you meet the following requisites before posting a for sale/trade thread:

• You must be a member of the forum for at least 7 days
• You must have contributed a minimum of 15 posts in any forum across the site

These requirements serve two important purposes:

• First, they encourage active participation and engagement within our community, fostering a vibrant and dynamic environment for all members.
• Second, they help build trust among traders by ensuring that those involved in transactions have demonstrated a commitment to the forum and have established a track record of positive interactions.

Note: If you do not follow these guidelines, your post may be deleted.

1. You may post your authorized/authentic & physical Disney pins for sale in the Disney Pins for Sale/Wanted forum, as well as requests for pins you are looking to buy.
2. You cannot post digital pins for sale/wanted in this forum (you can put it in the Other For Sale/Wanted section of the marketplace).
3. Thread titles MUST contain a prefix:
   • 
     
     - Pins for sale
   • 
     
     - Pins you are In Search Of, and willing to acquire through purchasing. If you are looking to acquire the pin through trading, please visit the Pin Trading Section of our Marketplace.
   • The Trading prefix should not be used in this section.
4. Thread titles should be descriptive of what is for sale or what you're looking to purchase.
5. If you are selling, the post content should contain as much information as possible — If there are any issues with any pins, please be up front about the condition.
6. All payments must be made as PayPal GOODS. Prices should reflect prices as PayPal GOODs if possible, but we do recognize that generous members do pick-ups at cost at DLR, WDW, DLP, and DSF/DSSH, so "pick ups at cost" can be identified as "retail + tax + shipping + PayPal fee." If a DPF member wishes to pay as Friends & Family, that is up to the individual DPF member and is done at your own risk and those discussions must occur via Private Message ONLY.
7. To maintain an organized and clutter-free forum, please adhere to the following guidelines:
   • Limit "bumping" your post to once a day.
   • Restrict yourself to a maximum of four (4) active trade threads: (2) for pins you are selling and (2) for pins you are willing to buy.
   • Please mark your threads as
     
     
     
     (by changing the prefix) once you have either sold or completed a purchase as a courtesy to other members.
   • Ask an Admin or Mod to merge your similar trade threads for the convenience of other members and to avoid unnecessary forum crowding.
   • Mods and Admins reserve the right to combine, close, or remove any redundant threads/posts by a single member at their discretion.
8. Counterfeited or scrapped pins are strictly prohibited and may not be sold in this forum.
9. Posts MUST contain a price. When posting a pin for sale, please state specific price(s) for your items instead of asking buyers to make offers. These prices must include PayPal seller fees.
   • Negotiation, if necessary can be handled via Private Messages.
10. "Feeler" and "holder" posts are not allowed. All pins listed in the forum must be committed for sale. Pins listed on this forum that do not have a sales price may receive a courtesy reminder from admin / moderators to identify the prices and, if the prices are not listed, admin / moderators reserve the right to close the thread.
11. Under no circumstances is anyone to reply to a post suggesting that the item can be found cheaper elsewhere. It is the buyer's responsibility (not other forum members, or the administrative and moderation team)to look for the best deal. Members are trying to sell their items in a safe environment without fear of others trying to undercut their sales.
    • There should not be any personal comments made about the price if you disagree with it. PM the seller rather than posting that comment on the thread.
12. All purchases are conducted at the risk of the individuals involved. Please ensure that you make safe, intelligent, and secure shipping arrangements. DisneyPinForum.com is not responsible or liable for:
    • The pins purchased in this forum;
    • The integrity of a product's representation;
    • Any purchases/shipping that go unhonored;
    • The shipment or transport of any items.
13. DisneyPinForum.com does not promote or endorse any products listed for trade in this forum.
14. These rules are subject to change at the discretion of DisneyPinForum.com.
15. If you are looking to buy or sell fantasy pins or other Disneyana items, please post your items and requests in the designated "Fantasy Pins for Sale/Wanted" or "'OTHER' For Sale/Wanted/Trade" DPF Marketplace categories. If you are looking to trade for other authentic Disney pins, please post your trades/wants in the DPF "Pin Trading" forum.

If a purchase goes past the 30 day mark and you have not received the item, or any form of customs number for international shipping, we recommend leaving feedback that properly reflects the situation (i.e. negative). If the situation is resolved after feedback is left, it can be altered if requested by the one who left it.

Remember, communication is the key to successful sales and purchases!
