Mods, Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this.

I'm planning my first DLR trip and I'm noticing that it's a LOT different than what I'm used to at WDW. I'm pretty familiar with WDW and most of the pin board/trade opportunities there. Does DLR have the same type of thing? Help please!

Sadly there isn't as much as WDW. I have heard that in one of the stores has one that is behind the counter but it is a small corkboard. The only big place that have trading is Frontierland. Sometimes you can find people in Tomorrowland but not that often. Also on Sundays there is trading on main street but since there was construction where it usually is I don't know where they are meeting. Some of the people on here are usually found in Frontierland. I know I had seen some that were there.

Uptownbabe is pretty much dead on... On our visit to WDW, we were blown away on how many pins there were to trade among cast members, pin boards, guest services books... Not here unfortunately... Heres our breakdown as I know it...

Best time to trade with cast members is early mornings and early evening before parade on Main Street.

Pin boards are picked to death most of the time, but they are located at pin traders in frontier land, Disney store on Main Street, a small book in Tomorrowland giftshop at exit of Star Tours... DCA has one at end of Hollywood Blvd. and one in giftshop accross from Little Mermaid ride.

Pin traders are as mentioned above and they do still meet at the end of Main Street on Sundays, but the tables at Frontierland is the best location.

Best days are... of course Thursdays for new pin releases and Sundays, followed by Fri, Sat, & Mon... Tues and Wed are pretty quiet...

Let me know when you visit, I love to trade and I am at the park often...

It really is sad how little we have trading wise. I can't seem to remember if there is any at the Disney Store in DTD. There is a very small section for pins that is among jewlary so it was hard to tell at first that there were pins. I wouldn't suggest going there later in the day. Best time to go in there is right when the first open. The area for the pins is much smaller then Frontierland's pin store. Which that area is small enough.
