Hello collectors. My name is Don Ancell and I am really new at this pin collecting and trading. I was introduced to this fine hobby by my daughter Janice, and granddaughter Micaela, both avid collectors and traders. My first visit to the Disney ice cream and soda shop was a real blast where several good people gave me pins for my 76th birthday. Between my daughter and granddaughter, and the folks, and traders at the Disney store, I have a great start with over 70 pins. My main interest is patriotic pins, and secondly, trains. As you can see by my photo, I play Abraham Lincoln.

When I get into some serious trading, I will offer a large "I traded with Lincoln' button.

Hello. I loved reading the story of you at the Soda Fountain. I have to admit Abraham Lincoln is my favorite president and you portray him nicely. Then again I am kind of biased since I wrote my final capstone paper for my BA in history. I hope you find this group of DPFers accommodating and friendly.. but it sounds like you are off to a good start. I really hope to one day trade with you, and not only to get the button.. but I have to admit it would go as a center piece to my Hall of Presidents/Abe Lincoln shadow box.
