Wohooo! Thank you for this fun game. I can’t wait to read everyone else’s answers.

    Mine
    1) I See The Light - one of the most beautiful scenes in a Disney movies and I’ve always loved Mandy Moore’s voice. Zachary Levi did an exceptional job too. This is a modern day classic.

    2) Favorite Disney artist has to be Thomas Kinkade. I have several of his puzzles and will eventually purchase some of his art pieces. Beautiful, vibrant pieces that portray amazing scenes so well! Obviously the first on my list will be...

    Ok here we go:

    1. Music is so hard! To much good music when it comes top Disney. But I think I will have to go for Reflection

2: This was not as hard. My favorit Disney Artist is of course out very own Hollie! The hard part was to choose one pic out of all her amazing art so I had to go for a few:

And of course these pins that she designed for Disney. the cutest pins ever! Still looking to get them all. On my grail list!

What a fun game! I'm going to be looking forward to seeing other member's answers!

    Wow . . . to narrow it down . . . as far as music . . .

My all-time favorite music - would have to be the beautiful instrumental bit behind the Princess department video at Disney Springs! :) Seriously. Wish they'd do a digital download purchase option!

Now from a Disney something . . . There a several choices. I like music too much to narrow it down to one field!

-For the all-around music and visual experience - Baby Moana in the ocean (An Innocent Warrior)
-As a piano solo, nothing is more amazing than "Part of Your World"
-Be Our Guest and Human Again, though would be at the top for spectacular numbers!
-One of my favorites to listen to a lot is the end credits from Beauty and the Beast (or watch the music video of it!)

As for artist . . . Mary Blair would be at the top, but I'd have to go with whoever does Frozen! I am just in love with the art of Frozen (and any of the Frozen things!)! So, while I don't know who the main artists are . . . I'd have to vote for them!

As far as pin art . . . I love whoever did the pin designs of the Small World Holiday Mystery sets of 2017 and 2018 (I think those are the two years)!

Is that too long-winded an answer? :)

It's so fun to learn all about the members on the forum. I look forward to reading everyone's answers.

For my favourite music it's so hard to decide. I get in to all different things at different times! I do find the Nightmare Before Christmas to be a fantastic musical. The music is just compelling all around, but lately I have been listening to "Into the Unknown" Duets (where people edit together the original and Brendon Urie versions and it is amazing). Then there is "Hell Fire", "Be Prepared", "Gaston" and "I've Got Friends On the Other Side" cause we can't forget some of my favourite villains tunes. I can never complain listening to Donny Osmond's fantastic rendition of "I'll Make a Man Out of You" and I constantly hum "Once Upon a Dream" and "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes"......so I guess my taste is a little bit all over the place. I suppose all the music from Hamilton counts here too, so write me down for that as well.

For my favourite artist I have to admit that I don't know much about all the various artists of Disney (For shame! For shame!). I think just about the only ones I have looked in to in any kind of depth are Thomas Kinkade and his terribly beautiful work, the styling of the amazing Mary Blair, and the truly beautiful work of Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. The whole world of Disney art is something that I am looking forward to finding out more about. If I was pressed for an answer however, I would say my favourite Disney artist is the man who started it all, Walt Disney himself. Without him, none of this would be possible.

Fun game! Looking forward to seeing all the answers.
I think my favorite Disney song would be the music from the graveyard scene on haunted mansion? Does that count?! If that doesn’t count I’ll go with “Hakuna Matata” Lion king was always a favorite of mine growing up. Throw in an honorable mention for “Hawaiian roller coaster ride” for my daughter.
Favorite Disney artist is harder... I honestly don’t really know them. I know some of the names but I don’t know their work. We went to festival of arts last year and loved seeing all the different art! If I had taken notes on who created what there I certainly could have given and answer but I didn’t :( so I’m going to go with Walt himself. Where would we all be if it wasn’t for him right?

Weird, I see the prize and the entrant’s list, but not the actual challenge?

From the other people’s answers, I’m guessing the questions are “favorite Disney song” and “favorite Disney artist...”

My favorite Disney song is “Never Smile at a Crocodile” from Peter Pan. The full song with lyrics never made it into the movie, but the instrumental version did:

My favorite Disney artist of all time is probably Mary Blair. She designed Its a Small World, as well as working on the concept art for Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland.

Some of my favorite contemporary Disney artists are Joey Chou, Jasmine Becket Griffith, Ann Shen, Jerrod Maruyama, and Hollie Ballard. I’m including samples of each artists’ work below, along with their Instagram name in parentheses, in case you’d like to follow them!

A great game from a great DPFer! :D

Favorite music: "God Help the Outcasts" ("Bells of Notre Dame" also gives me chills)

Favorite artist: Story board artist Dean Deblois was given one sentence to describe Mulan leaving home. He turned it into two incredible minutes that show her determination and love for her family without a single word:

Favorite Music/Song - I love Little Town from Beauty and the Beast.
I also really like Do you want to Build a Snowman and In Summer from Frozen.
I like songs you can sing.

As far as an artist...I like the Dreams series by Kincaid. I think @mybabykelly already
mentioned these. I have cross stitched some scenes from them and they are very intense
but beautiful. The large full scene is amazing.

    Thank you for your challenge.

What a fun game! Thank you @speedwaystar1 for hosting this! (Saw your location listed as Exeter -- cool! You're not far from the place in the world I'd really like to visit most, St. Germans in Cornwall.)

    As for my favorite Song/Music.
That's tough to narrow to one. I like a lot of Disney music. Agreeing here with Sis above that the rendition of "Part of Your World" that has been played over the video montage in the Princess section at "The World of Disney" in Disney Springs is about as thrilling a piece as you can get. Here is a rather lousy video of it that we managed to get back in 2018 or so. The swell that start around 56 seconds is totally amazing when you're standing there.

I really love "Beauty and the Beast", "An Innocent Warrior", "So This is Love" and "A Whole New World". "Some Day My Prince Will Come" is another favorite, and Barbra Streisand was nice enough to sing the full song in a great rendition!

    For art . . .
Saying that Walt Disney's art is crucial, of course! Without him, where would we all be?
But to specify a couple artists carrying on his dream -- my thanks and admiration have to go to Bill Schwab and Chris Williams for creating and animating Baby Moana and her amazing scene with the Ocean. There is no animated scene that touches me so much as this one. They really captured the Disney Magic there!

@SoraPandora mentioned Joey Chou, and I'm glad she did. His art is also amazing, and I have a lot of it printed for one of my pin boards. You cannot beat "It's a Small World", and he does amazing art following in the footsteps of the original Mary Blaire versions.

OK . . . this is a nudge if there are any Disney Cast Members who can put suggestions in a box for Disney . . . wouldn't they sell a digital download or CD or something where you could get this 2 minute music track? :lumpy:

Thanks! Yea I’m on tapatalk, so maybe that’s why I’m not seeing it..

Ok I will answer here as well

    1. Favorite music: I love the Moana soundtrack! How far I’ll go is just *chefs kiss*. As for classics, I love “be our guest” and pretty much all Alan Mencken (sp?) songs.

    2. I’m not too familiar with artists but I love Jerrod Maruyama and his cute style. In terms of non-traditional media, I enjoy @designerdaddy_ on IG who makes beautiful gowns based on Disney princesses

1.) Favorite song - I’m going cheat and name two songs as my favorite. I can’t pick. “Almost There” from Princess and the Frog and “Something There” from Beauty and the Beast are my two favorite songs.

2.) Favorite Animator - Mark Henn
I like Disney animation and art, but I couldn’t name a favorite Disney artist. I think the artists are extremely talented and I am in awe of their skill. As the animation from the Disney Renaissance period and Beyond is my favorite, I started looking into who the animators were of some of my favorite characters. One name kept appearing - Mark Henn. He was the supervising animator of many of my favorite heroines in some of my favorite movies. He has worked numerous movies in his 40 year career at the Walt Disney Animation Studios. As his contributions have brought me hours of enjoyment, he is my favorite Disney artist.

Yes! Forced to pick a favorite (as opposed to the entire Disney musical library I love to sing along to), that's exactly what I was going to say. Well, maybe not exactly as I wouldn't have thought of the kiss.

For artist, I'm not really familiar with many. But there is one whose work I know of and find truly awesome. Had the pleasure to meet her a couple of times. Not this year unfortunately. - Jes Willis.

Q1 Music - my favorite Disney movie growing up was The Parent Trap with Hayley Mills so I’m going with that soundtrack. Let’s get together, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Q2 Artist - even though I don’t own any, I like just about every Jim Shore design I see.

    1. Impossible to pick just 1...but I'll go with Batb Tale as Old as Time because every time I hear it I can't help but sigh...and I'm sneaking "I'll Make a Man out of You" from Mulan as the one I sing most often.

    2. Gonna go w/ Jim Shore. I love mostly all of those figures...2 of them are sitting on my desk at work and I always smile when I see them. [IMG][IMG]
