Is it possible there will be a pre-order on 4th Nov and then it will be released on 20th? Seems a stupidly short time but it could happen! Either that or we just get a first official glimpse of (possibly both) dolls on Monday and then they are released later?
 
This is all getting so ridiculous.... Oct. 28, then Nov. 4 now the 20th...come on Disney, it ain't that serious - just make a public confirmation already!!!! After all the $$$ we just dished out over the last few months for dolls, it would a nice favor to inform the collectors ahead of time so we can prepare a bit. ***FRUSTRATED***
 

That's sort of what I suggested when I was at my store. though they thought that unlikely.
 

This is what I believe to be the case as well, what I recommend though is to just check the website on Monday and Tuesday if you can just because I believe this really is going to be a surprise release by Disney.

jrsinger78 I agree it is getting ridiculous but I guess this is a surprise release by Disney so they are not obligated to tell us anything really, again if you really want the dolls then just make sure you have at least $250 in your account/credit card to pay for them. I guess with a situation like this just make sure that you are well prepared for the release and just expect it to happen sometime in November.

yeah I guess I'm just hoping for the 20th as pay day doesn't roll around till Nov. 8 for me (just paid off my car -- ouch!), so I'm broke til then....hope I don't miss out :/
 
I am hoping It is the 20th for money reasons too! I can afford the dolls now, but with the pins too I'm hoping to get! I'm trying to save up as much money as I possibly can :lol:

The dolls are £60 in the UK and I have more then enough for both (my boyfriend is getting me one for Christmas so I only have to spend £60 on them in reality) I am also hoping to get the 12" dolls of all the characters, Sven plush, singing dolls (if I can get them in the sale) and ornaments and snowglobes!

I don't know whether to hold off on buying the frozen merchandise until it goes on sale, which it inevitably will after Christmas at some point as wreck it Ralph did after a few months! But at the same time I don't want them to sell out and miss out on the dolls as I personally think they are the best 12" dolls disney has ever released (not including LE ones haha)

My whole brain at the moment is just frozen frozen frozen frozen I'm completely and utterly obsessed and in love with frozen haha! I just know I'm going to adore it

Once the movies released in the US I'm probably going to avoid the forums until I've seen it! As it's released in the UK only 10 days after US, which is amazing cause usually we have to wait months!!!
 
Went into a Disney store in Miami yesterday and they said nov 20, also seen this confirmed by another "Disney Collectors Items" on Facebook . Hope so as I'll be back home then
 
Hmmmm personally I'd really rather that at least one of them was up for pre-order next week.

I mean, I think it makes sense... we had official photo peeks and details about Merida on DS's FB leading up to the Brave release, even though there was no pre-order.

And 11/4 is when the LE costumes are scheduled to be released. So if that hasn't changed, I could see them releasing other LE merchandise on that date as well.
I really just wanted to try and get her as soon as possible before too many people find out about her. That 2500 is worrying me despite everyone's reassurances. Mostly because of the Doll FB page and the overall positive reception to Frozen so far. :anxious:
 
I know the feeling!!! I'm asking for all things Frozen for Christmas (12" dolls, plush, minis, toddler dolls, singing dolls, coronation dolls)!!!!
 
I was hoping for at least more pictures to upload by now for the other frozen merchandise that hasn't been released on any of the websites yet by now:-( even though they are small items I was hoping for some new excitement and Disney magic lol
 
I agree all these dates are driving me crazy. As Polaris said though, the best we can do is be prepared to purchase them at any time during the next couple of weeks. At least we have some dates to play to try an be ready. I shall be glues to my computer the next couple of weeks, bring on the caffeine! lol.
 
I really wanted this doll to be pre-order (I don't know why, but it feels less crazy when it's a pre-order and I've never had a problem with getting a pre-order doll), and Nov 4th. I'm traveling Nov 20th, and I don't think I'll be able to do a physical store if that's the date.

Well, if I miss this doll, I'm going to just get myself the 12" play one. Its the nicest 12" doll I've seen by disney in a long time.
 
I, too, feel like the longer the release is delayed, the tougher these dolls will be to get. The hype is just getting bigger and bigger. I was hoping that no pics would be leaked and it would be a true surprise.
 
- Well it took me awhile to read all these posts & pages about the upcoming release of the LE frozen dolls & pins & I for one am quite excited for just the movie itself! I just came back from my trip to Disneyland & I see a lot of the frozen merch when I was down there. Typical same things that you would see there & back at the Disney stores. I would say, I love the coronation outfits that they have their, as well as Anna's wig & there snowflake wands. I told myself not to see anymore trailers after the very first two. & I know I would spend so much more money on another franchise but I came to a conclusion that I would only buy the movie, some pins, & a couple of the vinylmation. Other than that, I'd probably might buy the LE Elsa or Anna doll but not for me, for my sisters of course. Cause the only character I'm seriously interested in is Olaf! He's the first & only character that ever caught my eyes & making me want to watch frozen so badly! :]
 
So... something kinda interesting. For anyone who remembers watching the clip we got of Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf fleeing from Marshmellow and jumping off the cliff, here is a newly released clip with that same scene.

But, interestingly, there are definite differences from the version I remember. Anna isn't nervous at all about the leap- in fact she's excited. And she doesn't do the cute little "He's coming...." The intonation in "what if we fall" is also different.

I personally thought the first version was better. More... panicky? And I thought Anna was cuter. Here she reminds me a lot of Vanellope with her "I was born ready" stuff. The first version seemed pretty finalized too, so I think it's a little odd that the scene changed so much.

My problem with it is that it's doesn't seem that dangerous in the updated clip.. And honestly, knowing the scene before, you'd think that the app version would fit Anna's Character better..

Another thing I didn't like was Olaf's "Man, Am I out of shape". in the app, he falls and there's a pause. In the clip he just suddenly says it. it comes out of no where.

Nonetheless, Marshmallow looks amazing.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do too! The internet is a bad place to find out about spoilers, especially on tumblr. I forgot to mention in my post about doing my store's uppers. I was pretty happy how it came out, especially for the amount of decor that we didn't get yet & little time for working on it. My cast members seems to enjoy it :]

I liked the original clip better too. Seemed more dangerous and Anna seemed more logically worried. Here she seems like she accepts the jump too easily.

I hate seeing things that they changed.

I kind of like that shes more daring ^_^! I like her relationship with Kristoff that we have seen, where he treats her like a damsel in distress and she isnt hehe
