Who is planning to go to the Annual Passholder preview for the Carsland Merchandise? It's March 27th-29th at DCA Stage 17. Here's some info:

I wonder how early one must show up to get the limited pins? I thought they were going to have more than they say now, it appeared at first more than just one or 2 LE pin sets. They will have a Mystery Pin set, perhaps the License plates? A new OE Carsland pin, Deluxe starter set, and what I am most excited for the Attraction Poster Pins LE1000 set. Carsland Ears would be cool. I know it's 3 days long but I assume most of the limited stuff goes early on the first day. I'm planning to take a half a day off work to go in the morning.

What does everyone think?

Well I'm going to go tomorrow early at see what the fuss is about. I don't expect a huge line like the AP sales at the Disney Store. Does anyone know what to expect? Is it mayhem or is it not a big deal? It opens at 10, is 8am too early? I have no idea. I'll let you all know, take some pics if I can.

WHAT A BUST!?! Wow, maybe there was 75 people this morning? Maybe. I got there at 8am and was about number 30 in line. I am not kidding, I think there were more cash registers and workers than there were shoppers. Seriously bad showing. I gave Disney some feedback that the lack of more limited or event exclusive merchandise killed it. What a joke. They let about 50 of us in at 9am just to walk back to stage 17 and wait another 30 minutes. I'll add photo's of merchandise once my iphone finishes uploading to Flickr.

PINS!!!

"other" merchandise

Weird new Vinylmations shaped like Monorails. I guess there will be a series of these from now on?

I also got pics of some of the new California Adventure night time party called "Mad T Party" featuring obviously the Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland. It was sort of odd. I think Electronica is still doing well for them so not sure why the change? If someone wants to see the pics let me know and I'll post it in the "other disney" forum.

i'd love to see pics from that. thanks!

Thanks for the great update. Much appreciated.

I didn't think there would be much of a crowd. Most people are not into Cars enough to justify buying a bunch of merchandise. I don't have a single Cars pin in my collection.
