What are completers?

What forums tell you of upcoming pin releases?

How do you know tha tvalue of the pins, is pinpics the only place to determine this or Ebay?

How do you add Pictures to your signature?

Any other information is information that might be useful

I hope I don't step on anyone's toes here, but since it was brought up in this thread, I was wondering what exactly are the completers? I can see the pics that tiggermickey was nice enough to link to, but what are they? There are some really cool ones there, but what is the story with them?

These special Cast Lanyard Pins are direct from the Disney Pin Vault. The ten (10) featured designs were created for the first collection of Cast Lanyard pins in 2002. The pins were sampled but never ordered or distributed at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Guests got a sneak preview of these pins at Disney's Pin Celebration 2004 - A Family Pin Gathering. These pins were not distributed to Cast Members for trading; the pins were created especially for this promotion as a tribute to the original Cast Lanyard Collection.

Ok, so the completers were cast pins then. Presumably that made it difficult for people to complete the sets that a few of them belonged to? I was curious about them because last week we found a few of the hidden Mickey lanyard pins on the trade boards and we liked them. We grabbed the red and the blue and saw the pink one, but the completer list that you posted above included a green one that we hadn't seen. So that will be the one that will be difficult to get. I think I got it now. Thanks very much!
