So my trading thread for GRAILS didn't pan out to what I thought it'd be cause there were too many PMs and posts on the thread that I had to take a step back and get some breathing room. So what's next? A GRAILS auction!

The format of this auction is different from basic auctions as there will be multiple pins auctioned off. The catch however, is that ONLY ONE WINNER will be chosen based on their bid for whatever pin(s) he/she is after. (An example of a bid and a sample leader board will be provided at the end of this post)

Here are the pins up for grabs (you may place a bid for any of the following):

DSF Tangled Maximus

Disney Shopping 110th Legacy Rapunzel

DSF Up Valentine's Day 4-Pin Set

DSF Brave 4-Pin Set

DSF Up Beloved Tales

Disney Shopping Designer Villains - Evil Queen

[Click pin photo to be directed to its PinPics page]

This auction will end on Sunday, March 10, 2013 @7pm PST.

Again to win this auction, you must make the best bid for whichever pin(s) you are after.

Ahh Snap! This is gonna be a crazy auction! Good luck! Not that you will need it

You've got some crazy nice pins in this bunch!
I hope to try to possibly bid on one Like I'll have a chance lol

omg omg omg I want that Maximus!!! AAAHHHHH

I bid for the DSF Maximus:

Pin 32311: Disney Auctions (P.I.N.S.) - Stitch with Book
Pin 80965: DLP - Rapunzel
Pin 56841: DisneyShopping.com - Ribbon Flag Series - Jessica Rabbit

A bid a a choice of one of these PODM's for the UP BT.

Do not have the Tangled Satchel one anymore

I am confused...

If I wanted to win Maximus, I would need to outbid someone who wants the evil queen? But the Evil queen is of higher value than Maximus. I do not want to have to out bid people who want a pin of a higher value.

I don't get it. So only one grail is being won? Or????? Can you bid on multiple pins? So if various people bid on various pins, Only one person will win one pin and the other bids are null? Totally confusing to Me...

Cool time for a leaderboard:
1st) Merryweather - Designer Evil Queen
- Pin 69442: FX 2009 Series - Up

2nd) catburger - Up Valentine's Day Set
-

3rd) Juni - Designer Evil Queen
- Pin 93683: Disneystore.com Brave 5 pin set

***Reminder, there will only be ONE WINNER based on the bid and what he/she is bidding on. Hopefully there's no confusion to how the auction is being run. You might have the best bid, but are bidding on something of higher value (to me), so may not be where you might expect to be on the leader board.***

Totally confusing. This is something you thought of while taking a shower, isn't it?? LOL

What about my bid?

You just have to bid more bang for the buck compared to someone else bidding on a different pin. You may even bid on multiple pins. Basically the best bid to what I eventually will have to give up. To win Maximus, your bid would have to be the best deal I'd get for giving up Maximus value. Let's pretend Maximus and Evil Queen are the same value (pretending here), basically whoever could offer the best bid so whoever has a better bang for the buck bid.

You are correct. And yes you can bid on multiple pins. Basically it's a who can offer the best trade for what I'm giving up. An auction.

No, I was taking a dump. Thanks for the rude comment. Have a nice day. :nono:
Whoa! I have heard that also! That defecation inspires some of the best ideas and inspirational ideas, too! Good Luck...But you have all the grails I would offer for your grails...so it's hard to pick something. Like I would have bid a Beloved Tales up! for one of your grails...but you already have it, so...its hard!

I want that Up set so bad Definitely have nothing to compete with catburgers bid....gonna have to think on this...maybe I'll go and have a shower

Due to all the commotion/confusion/undermining/mini-controversy in the thread, this trade auction is currently being reviewed by the mods and either everything will end or continue from there. I have tried not to bump in hope to avoid more conflict and I have received several PMs, posts and whatnots that it's best I wait for a mod's instruction whether to continue the auction as is or if changes need to be made. Bids made during this process will still be counted if the auction is allowed to finish, but there's no sure answer to that at this moment. Thanks!
