hello all. sorry if this is frowned upon asking here since this is a different community, but has anybody traded or dealt with torianne30 on pinpics. i received a trade request from him/her and it seems a bit unfair to me (with me in the favor). i don't want to get swindled.

also, is there a way i can see this persons' references/feedback on pinpics? i do have their e-mail.

I have traded with her a couple of times. Always was a good experience.

As for references - on the pinpics home page on the right hand side click on REFERENCE CENTER scroll down and click on CHECK REFERANCES and then just enter the email address and click start search. :0)
 
well i am still awaiting my pin from our trade, confirmed on march 8th! yeh i am on a streek. Incomplete trade with someone on here, and torianne and another from pinpics....still no pins. A good dozen "fair and nagotable" trade requests, all declined.....i guess its time to give it a break. oh well WDW here i come....lol of course no trading tables. FML:mad:
 
Ok she has a few trades completed on 3/13/12..I traded with them.. here on DPF in 2011

I just agreed a trade with torianne30 for the new Beauty Beast pin, she offered two pins for it. She has asked that I hold the pin for her until Sunday as she is away, so nothing has been posted yet. Ive never traded with her before, but I see others here have.
 
oh thanks pinocchiolover, i bet thats why its taking so long and she probablyforgot to tell me and didnt mail it on time, it sounds like it will be coming my way.
 
I have traded with her before too. Very nice person! Hmm, maybe I'd better go look her up and see if there are any other pins we can trade! :-)
 
I have never traded with this person, but I always recommend checking references before trading with someone with whom you've never traded.

Also, if you believe that a trade is unfair or unbalanced in any way (but you want to try to trade with the person anyway), you always can send a politely worded counteroffer and see what comes of it. The worst that can happen is it will be declined, but I've been able to make many trades that might not have happened that way.
 
thanks for the feedback, guys and gals. looking more closely now at the trade it isn't very unfair at all. i just happen to like the pin more that i'd be getting than the one i'm trading away. haha.
 
Thank you all for the kind words, I try to make the most fair trades I can. I also am always willing to work out a multi-trade with people. I am a mom with two teenagers who keep me very busy, I also work fulltime so these things do get in the way of my most fav. pass time which is pin trading, My husband goes to wdw every weekend and I am always willing to pick something up from WDW ( If my budget allows) I do not get on here that offten so DPF is new to me in a way.

I have traded with Tori several times and is one of best traders I have worked with on a regular basis. She has picked up pins for me at WDW and at the stores near there. I have a trade in the works right now, just working out the details. I don't think you will have any problems trading with her.
