Hello~! ^__^/ (from California)

Ever since I went to Disneyland during their Halloween period last year and bought their villain pin starter pack, I've been pretty interested in collecting pins.

Although they do say that it's a hobby for both the old and young, I was slightly dismayed to find out about fakes, bootlegs, and scrappers when I started to read up about collecting pins. It's really sad that people make and sell them. I traded a few of my pins when I was at Disneyland and now I feel like I traded some for fakes/scrappers which makes me sad but it's better that I know now than later!

I'm overjoyed by all the information that DPF has for newbies like me and I do hope that I'll get along with everyone in DPF and become a happy pin-lovers family~!

<3,
Milky

Hi!!
Welcome to pin trading
I think the whole scrapper issue is going abit crazy right now and everyone is being extra paranoid but it shouldnt stop the fun

Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your time here! ^_^ Don't get too worried about the scrappers and fakes going around, just remember there are also plenty of legit pins out there, don't let it stop you from having fun trading, with a vigilant eye many fakes and scrappers can be spotted in time!
