Hello I'm Jessica! I am new to this and would to meet new friends and be able to trade pins!!! Attended my 1st pin trading event at Pardise Pier Hotel and was not treated to nicely!!! Hopefully I will a better expeariance here!

Hello and welcome, Jessica! I went to the same PTN at Paradise Pier the other night (my first one!), and I was rather overwhelmed by the large amount of hardcore collectors and the small amount of easy trades available.

But I can assure you, this forum is a very nice place full of friendly people who welcome newcomers like you and I with open arms. I hope you enjoy yourself here as much as I have.

Sorry to hear you weren't treated nicely. Sometimes the super serious collectors can ruin the fun. Don't let them get you down, there's a bunch of awesome and super nice people here on the forum who'd love to trade!

Sorry to hear of your experience at the PTN. Those nights can be pretty crazy and I get rejected quite a bit, but I thought it was one of the friendliest nights in recent memory. Hopefully, your next one will be better.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a positive first PTN last night. I know that those trading nights can be quite overwhelming - even to those who know what they're doing. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must have been to someone who is new to the habit ... er ... hobby.

That being said, we're very glad that you've found our online community. If you have any questions about pins or pin trading, don't hesitate to ask them; I know that someone (or several someones) will be more than happy to answer them for you.
